Response as follows:First of all will address the topics one by one:Regarding the hole in the floor-the whole in the floor was a 2" in the sub floor which isunderneath the hardwood flooring- it was simply a previous drain hole that would notnegatively affect the
projectAs far as the comment by Mr*** that was a joke - and Icannot attest to comments made by Mr***The flooring that "snaps" when you walk on it - the *** flooring is a floating floor-thehomeowners, ***, picked out the flooring, needless to say the flooring product was lessthat top qualityI had to pick through the boxes of flooring to find acceptable pieces that werenot cracked or chippedI had no control over the flooring that they pickedWhen transitioningthe new floor to the existing floor it was determined that the existing floor was not level so I made adjustments to the flooring to level the existing floor to meet the additionThe roof leaking is the responsibility of the homeowners as the roof leak is in the existing part ofthe home - not where the addition isI had the Roofer go out and inspect the roof after I wascalled about the leak and he stated that the leak is in the existing roof and is running into theaddition thus causing the area in the addition to leakThe roofer videotaped the problem anddid what he could to fix the problemI hired a separate company to do the roof so Ideal Tile andConstruction has no responsibility for the roof leakConcrete not being correct - there is a l' x 6"x X'' bird bath area that has a small dip in itIstated to the customers that I would deduct $from the concrete bid but Mr***wanted 100% of the concrete to be paid by meThe back yard - I was told by Mrs*** that they do not use the yard, they do not water, mow or maintain itI raked out the yard, leveled the yard and seeded the yardIt was anunused portion of the yardI also raked the dirt for positive drainage away from the addition. In closing - I feel that the *** are trying to get something for nothingI had many phone callsstating that this is operating procedure for the *** - they hire someone for a job then atthe end try to get Items for free.Ideal Tile and Construction will not go back to the site nor will I pay for any additional items that the*** decide to destroy then ask someone else to pay forThe *** do owe me money for the
completion of my work and I have not taken any action to collect these funds, although I am prepared todo soThe following items are "extras" that the *** asked for: can lights in the porch, canlights In the addition, extra flooring in the hallway and entryway, new door trim and base, re-wire ofelectrical panel and more - they owe me $1,
Thank you

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Ideal Tile and Construction Inc response was not correct in any of their statements.
I Mrs.[redacted] am the responder on this section,
1. Regarding the hole in the floor where they are saying is from the drain, This is not even what our complaint was in the first place. It is across the whole floor where it buts up to the old.  The new addition was not at the same level when they put it up.
The new side was not too much off. Mr. [redacted] stated that they would have to remove the sub floor on the old side. I replied to him and stated that why would you take all  the sub floor, I think ( I'm not a contractor by no means) but not stupid either ,why would you take out a sub floor in the first place making it lower then the other side. Mr [redacted] response well I won't be able to put the cabinet above the fridge because the floor will be to high.I said that is fine don't put it up but leave the sub floor in and fix the other side as it would be less to do and work. They did it anyways before they started putting in the flooring.  Mr.[redacted] was the one that put the flooring down. I asked many time how it was and if there were any waist. His reply no, you pick out some nice flooring and very nice looking. We paid 100% of all flooring  and trim out of our own pocket.  It cost us well over $1200.00 just for the flooring and trim.I was given a $1600.00 budget sent to the I believe the  Carpet Warehouse on Appleway in Coeur D Alene. I went there as Mr. Y[redacted] said to go there and pick out flooring. I said what do I have and how much do I need that will get me $1600.00 worth, I did say it would be nice to do the front entry and hall way which is roughly 110 sq feet.Mr Y[redacted] said he could do that part for $650.00, I was assuming that would be with materials as he did not have me sign anything prior to doing it .He said pick it out we will go from there. I went picked out some flooring for $3.99 a sq foot. Oh that's to much money, you only have $1600.00 that  is with Labor to. So I and my husband thought what the heck can we get with that to cover 450 sq feet. Maybe .89 cents a square foot. That went on for a bit thinking well crap may as well just have sub floor until we can save enough to get flooring. My little brother works at Great Floors so I went there and received his family discount so I pick out some flooring that was $2.39 a sq foot. Good stuff not the most expensive but  good quality, not junk as Mr. Y[redacted] states. I also told them I was going to have Great Floors install it as they would charge us $2.00 a sq foot to install. Mr [redacted] reply was well they won't do a good job its kids that do it,we will make it work for you and cut you a deal. There was hardly any waist I checked everyday with Mr [redacted]  he clearly stated no waist not at all. When I asked them to stop and  I put a note on the floor for them the  next day of work It clearly states what the issue was. They noticed it to and thought we would not notice it. The new addition was now higher then the old side as they took out the sub floor and are now trying to charge us for it as I feel that paying any extra money to someone who is suppose to be professional they did a bad job at what they said someone else would do. Very unprofessional. So floor does go down hill. In front of the fridge is a hole this is not even where the drain was thats across the room. My refrigerator does not sit level. My warranty on the floor is voids it needed to be installed correctly as I had told them before 3 time asked them to fix it. It was suppose to take a day in a half it ended up being 5 day to lay 450 sq feet of flooring. My daughter did not feel like that was a funny joke as she was here the whole time they were and over heard a lot and seen a lot.
Mr Y[redacted] quote its a floating floor , wow funny. We had  laminate flooring that was 18years old we paid a  .99 sq foot my husband and brother put it in and they were not professionals and it never cracked or so called floated as it was installed correctly.
2. On April 12 2016 I text Mr.[redacted] at 519 pm and stated this is a huge mess the roof is leaking there are to many things that went wrong how the hell is this okay and sent him a photo of what was going on. His reply was pay your bill and we will  take care of the problem or see what a judge says about people who don't pay..So I forward it to Mr. Y[redacted] he replied I'll get ahold of the roofing company. The roofer came out looked at the roof video it and said it was coming from the chimney that is located on the west downside of the house that has no flashing. I said hum that weird how does it go uphill and down the other side as this has been like that for years as we have been here 25 years never had a leak yet. He said well I covered it
so lets see if it still leaks. I had not noticed the leak. I noticed when it started that the beam above the pantry started with a line across it and now the ceiling. It looks like there is more damage and my thoughts are it is still leaking as it's worse then when it was when it started. I have not touched it at all. I have photos from when it started to now. It leaks on both side of the valley of the new addition. I did show Halfhide Roofing that the first day he inspected it. He tired to tell me that the bathroom leak was from an existing pipe from the bathroom vent is where the leaking is from where it is 4 feet away from where it is leaking to the north. I hired a roofer from a different company to come in and inspect, there is no water damage in the old part of the addition as Mr. Y[redacted] states and I have many photos of the tear down of the old part of the house and when that was tore into I asked If there were any problem, and damage and it was clearly stated to me that there were NONE. I see no water damage in any photo of before and after the tear down. They even used all the old insulation from that area to insulate above the french door. So if there were any problems why would they use wet insulation in the new part of the addition.  I was being charged for new window, door and french door. The door was an interior door cheap $68.00 french door was $648.00 and my [redacted] window was ours in the first place but they said they can use whatever from the old and charge us anyways for it. I had it in our house for over 20 years why would you charge for my own window so $1800.00 for a french door and cheap door to pantry. They also used our decking material to frame some of the house I have photos of that as well.
If you hire a second contractor you are still responsible, you hired them we did not I hired you not them.
3. The concrete was being poured by Mr. Y[redacted] and Mr. [redacted] and my husband came come and he then went to check to see how it was looking. He did tell them the concrete was to way to wet. They said well the company mixed it to wet,my husband said well it won't be right if its to wet. They left told us to watch it as it might be wet and it would dry okay don't let the dog on it which we would do in the first place. The next day looked at it it was really wet on the north side that where the so called bird bath is. It does retain water and it should not it is also really rough like rocks coming up to the top of it,. If you do not know how to do a job you should not say you do.
When my husband said something to them about it they said if we paid more money for it they would have done a better job. Mr. [redacted] said well your just going to put a deck on it anyways.
4. My back yard was tore up by Mr.Y[redacted] and Mr. B[redacted].They asked me before we started construction, hey your neighbor has a tractor does he know how to run it?It would save us time renting one. I said I do not know if he is licensed  to do a job but you can ask. They asked the next day. I came home to a huge mess in the back yard that I have photos of, they had to find the drain field but decided to try and locate it by digging it up The had my neighbor doing it. They dug up the entire back yard. I came home to that I should have fired them when that happened but they blamed my neighbor for it. They broke a pipe which I had to pay $200.00 for. I did not okay that they could not find the drain field them decided to scope it that cost $150.00 that I had to pay for including the neighbor with $150.00 credit but a $500.00 other charge for it. They were suppose to fix the yard and said you will have nice grass back there it will look good. They racked a small hill in front of the patio no grass came up I watered it nothing but weeds. This was getting stressful. And Mr.Y[redacted] who waters their lawn in October and I never said we do not use the back yard I said the side where the gate is was no big deal not the rest of the yard. I have children at home of course we use the back yard. And who waters their grass from October to spring.
4. Mr.Y[redacted]  you came into my home 2 other times prior years  to put in a bay window and replace our tub in our bathroom. Did I not pay you in full? If that was the case why would you come back to do a $45,000.00 remold and feel we are ripping people off. And on that not you are not a licensed Plummer and had me fill out a permit with my husbands name on it so you would not have to pay a Plummer the cost that you did Plumbing the sink in. How illegal is that?
5. I am only wanting what is right my rights are that you should never pay the contractor until the job is 100% satisfactory by the customer and it was not as we had many issues with all the above. Also if the bid is what is stated as we paid more than asked to pay and the job was incomplete I should not be responsible for $1502.75  You can take action I have way to many photo to bring to the table. I have hired a roofer to dig into the roof I will take photos of his work and those will be used as well. The roof valley is not tar papered correctly and did not get flashed. They put the tar paper over the top of the old shingles going up hill then they shingled it so that is where the water runs in both side s in the bathroom and the new addition, I have photos of the old part and the new addition that leaks.
6. Mr Y[redacted] you mentioned to me that it would look nice to put in under cabinets light that if I wanted them you would pick them up The next day you said well they are to expensive if you want to get them I will put them in. I bought the plug in ones you hard wired them and if I knew and you put a bill in front of me before hand I would have said no, as I have not used them yet. The can light in the [redacted] and the patio, I asked you how many you wanted me to pick up I paid 100% of the lights. I never asked for more in the [redacted] and you and my husband talked about the patio and you said you would do $50.00 per light which would be $300.00. I pulled up the drive way you said the panel needs to be replace and said it would cost $500.00 no panel was replace its still the same one. You said to me that the trim in the front room was installed incorrectly, I said okay go ahead and fix it. But you put it in the same as it was. No letting me know  what you would charge and not in writing before you did any of it. We paid you $1190 over what was stated. The beam was purchased at 22'- 8"  Mr. [redacted] cut it off 4 feet which was wrong. It was in the contract to do 10x23 and he cut it short. And you tried to bill us $400.00 for your mistake and you even said standing at the back door  to Mr. [redacted] and myself  it was suppose to all open.
7. Mr Y[redacted] we have never had anyone other than you do any work or us. We have a credit score of 850 plus. We have never field backrupcy ,never borrowed a dime from anyone. We support the community and help people so I sure do not know where you get your information but some people sure can lie... This is not a matter of who did or said what it is about a job that was not done to the satisfaction of the homeowner and the roof leaking 30 days after. And believe me if it had known the roof leaked and if you would have said so and if I had noticed it the past 25 years I sure would not wait to fix it.. Also what damages would I do to our home taking out a loan to do a remodel what a stupid jester on your part, very unprofessional you are.  If you are in fact going to take action I am over prepared to do so. I will be having this fixed and I am seeking an attorney. We have enough to prove you 100% wrong. It is a shame on your part you had to be a complete jerk when I asked you to fix 1 problem. Also MR. Y[redacted] you were out of the job site 10 day while they framed and did other work without you present. And the roofer owner was not present it was Mr. [redacted]  son or relative from what Mr. [redacted] said and another kid doing the roofing. I was here most of the time checking and taking photos.
I attached a couple photos of the complaints that they say are not the issue.Mr. Y[redacted] say the leak is from the old part I see no water damage at all I do see grass. I do have a ton more and will bring them to the table
Sincerely
[redacted] and [redacted]
