Review: The gentlemen working in the store on Saturday, April [redacted] told us we could not return our merchandise. We feel we can since it is within 7 days of the purchase. The conditions of sale stated on the form we signed says we have 7 days to do any returns. (However, after we signed the receipt the day of purchase, they stamped it No Returns, File Sale. We did not realize they stamped the receipt.

Before we gave them any money at all, we had a question on the size of a shelf. We were concerned the shelf might be too large for the bathtub area. He assured us it was the right size without even explaining anything. So I felt a little uneasy about the size- so I told him that I was not really reassured about that, that it looks large. He then told me that you could always return it. He then said EVERYTHING IS RETURNABLE.

This was BEFORE we did any payments or signed the receipt with the conditions of sale. After we signed the conditions of sale, he stamped the receipt, handed it to us, and we left the store; NOT realizing that it was stamped!

He never explained to us that anything we purchased was a FINAL SALE.

I explained this to him on Saturday. His answer was we had a special order. All we ordered was tile, grout and some shelves. None of the tile we purchased were discontinued. Nothing on the boxes states a final sale. There was ABSOLUTELY no mention of this at anytime.

This stamp goes against all the rules on the conditions of the sale. Why do they have a form if they stamp everything. Why don't they just say EVERYTHING IS A FINAL SALE. This is just tile. It is always returnable in any other store.

I feel I am being ripped off. He refused us a refund when we went to the store on Saturday. Saturday is within 7 days of the final payment and pick up of the merchandise. Said he will try to work with us; and he tried to call somebody. He claims this business is a franchise, however, I do not see any other Ideal Tile Stores that are related to this one.

He told us he would find out on Monday because he was unable to contact someone about our problem. As he was looking at the receipt, he changed this to Tuesday- then changed it to Wednesday!

Stamped on the receipt is PAID April **, 2015. Wednesday will be the [redacted] day of payment and pickup.Desired Settlement: Refused a refund when we went to the store on Saturday. Saturday is within 7 days of the final payment and pick up of the merchandise. Said he will try to work with us; and he tried to call somebody. He claims this business is a franchise, however, I do not see any other Ideal Tile Stores that are related to this one.

He told us to come back on Monday- changed that to Tuesday - then changed that to Wednesday as he was looking at the receipt. Wednesday will be day 8 of the final payment and pick up of the merchandise.
