We installed a water treatment system in Mrs*** home on April 27, 2014. She was told at the time that the customer is responsible for weather proofing of the equipment. Had this been done, her unit would not have froze. Mrs*** signed a completion certificate stating
that she was aware that she was responsible for getting this done. We went out to Mrs***'s home in January when her pipes had frozen. We put in a bypass so that she could get water immediately. She was not home at the time so we explained to her husband that when it warms up they need take the unit out of bypass and they would then have treated water again. They did not take unit out of bypass, therefore the unit was not working for almost months. Upon receiving this complaint, we contacted Mrs*** and set up an appointment to go out on Wednesday the 11th to take unit out of bypass. We then went back on Monday the 16th and put heat cable around her pipes so that she will not have this problem in the future. We also gave her a check in the amount of $to compensate for the months that she paid on her unit but was unable to use it. This matter should be considered taken care of. We went above and beyond by insulating the customers pipes and refunding months worth of payments

Mr. [redacted] purchased our equipment on December 12th,
2014. The purchase price was $6065.42 plus Indiana sales tax of $424.58.
According to our records, Ideal Water received a call from Mr. [redacted] on March
23rd, 2015 stating that they haven’t seen a change in their water.
On March 30th, 2015, Ideal...

Water had a service technician at their
house who found that the hot water was not 100% soft. The service technician
adjusted the hardness level to have the machine recycle more often to correct
this problem. The next time we heard from Mr. [redacted] was on October 19th,
2015. Mr. [redacted] claims that he has had ‘someone else’ test his water. This
person apparently lied to Mr.
[redacted] and claimed that we (Ideal Water) ‘Duped him’. Ideal Water, at that time,
offered to have our service technician come back out and check the system
again. This offer however was rejected by Mr. [redacted] who is demanding a full
refund or else.Ideal Water regrets that ‘someone’ has led Mr. [redacted] to
believe that he was ‘Duped’ by us. Ideal Water can’t be held responsible for
what ‘someone else’ says or claims. As stated in our contract, signed by both Mr. & Mrs.
[redacted];-Ideal Water does not claim to remove all
contaminants from the water. -Ideal Water does not install equipment on a
trial basis.Ideal Water will be happy to have a service technician come
out free of charge, and check the equipment to make sure it is working
properly. As an additional token of our appreciation for Mr. [redacted] purchase, we
would like to offer him his first filter change free of charge.  This filter change would be due in and or
before December 2016 and represents a savings of over two hundred dollars
($200.00).

I do not appreciate the coarseness and the smugness of this company's response. I still have yet to hear from this company and I do not appreciate the way they dismiss my complaints and accuse our outside tester of lying. I would like one of their technicians to come back out and test our water along side our independent contractor. I would also like the name of the technician that came out the first time since he was the one that informed me that the salesman had made some remarks that weren't true. I would like to submit a large number of pictures of our fixtures that are now caked with lime and other hard water debris to the technician once he arrives. Although I have to choose to accept or deny, this matter is not over. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.
Regards,
[redacted]

Ideal Water is very sorry that this problem ever existed. It all started when Mrs. [redacted] told the service technician that the reverse osmosis (ro) would not be going to the new location. Her actual thought was that they would leave the faucet for the ro, but would take the ro. However, the service...

technician thought the ro was staying.  The next day, Mr. [redacted] called our office quite upset. He was complaining that we did not move the ro, the placement of the main system, and the main unit not hooked up properly. When it comes to installing a system we are at the mercy of the construction of the home. We placed the unit where it had to go to work properly and the location was approved by Mrs. [redacted]. Now because of the misunderstanding that Mrs. [redacted] created, Ideal Water is in a position of running a service call in North Vernon for free. Because of drive time we scheduled four hours for this call. When Ideal Water called 30 minutes ahead of arrival, as agreed and at the agreed time we were told that we would have to come back later. The office manager knowing that if we complied, we would have to inconvenience two other customers. This is when Mrs. [redacted] thought that the office manager was rude by not complying with their request. It was only after the service technician got there that we found out this was all because of a misunderstanding. Ideal Water then moved the ro to the new home. The service technician showed the customer that the system was hooked up properly and apologized in person for the misunderstanding. Once again, Ideal Water would like to apologize for any and all fault that we may have in this unpleasant situation.

A service technician went out to customer's home on Wednesday Oct 26th and found that the cause of the water was the unit sweating. We addressed that issue. While we were there we also hooked the reverse osmosis up the icemaker to help clear up the cloudiness in the ice.  We also...

covered all of her other concerns listed.  After my pleasant conversation with Ms. [redacted] today, I now believe she is satisfied.

On 4/18/2015 we installed an air handler only at a cost of $1925.00. On 2/13/2013 we got a call that the unit had a red flashing light. We found the unit low on Freon from a cracked factory joint we repaired the joint and topped off the Freon charge to correct pressures at no charge to the...

customer. On 1/3/2013 we were called to do a routine service of the system and changed the filter. My service tech noticed a small sign of oil on the coil during the cleaning the Freon pressures were fine at this time. We priced up a replacement coil for the owner in case they were interested in changing before it became a major failure the cost was 650.00 for labor, freight, and Freon that would have been lost. On 6/18/2015 we were called to the unit not cooling properly the unit was found 1/2 lb. low of Freon and we only charged a service call. We got another call on 8/31/2015 for no power to the unit the service tech found the door for the filter was not installed properly and it would not allow the system to work, again we charged a service call which the customer has refused to pay. I think the reason behind the complaint is we are trying to collect for the service that was done in August.   [redacted]/ President
