I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I spoke to Guest Services Manager Jimmy once again on June 17th after his failure to return my phone calls I had to call multiple times and leave multiple messages and received no call back I finally was able to speak with him on June 17th when I called guest services Jimmy stated that he was mailing five park passes to my home address on June 17th for the troubles and inconvenience myself and my family received on our June 28th visit It is now June 30th and I have not received any park passes in the mail This matter is still unresolved

Review: On May 28th, 2016 I took a day off of work and traveled with my family of five to Idlewild Park in Ligonier, PA. We arrived at approximately 1:00 p.m. when I purchased five park tickets at the gate. The weather was slightly overcast skies when we arrived and I asked the gate attendant when we arrived if all the attractions and rides were open. The gate attendant assured me that all the rides and attractions were open. We first walked to the wave pool and the water park area. As soon as we arrived the lifeguards were directing all the attendants to exit the pool. I asked the lifeguard when the pool and water park would be open again. I was informed that they were temporarily closing the water park due to the overcast skies and we could wait until it opened again. We waited over an hour at the pool and it did none of the water rides opened. From there we walked throughout the park. All the rides we passed throughout the park were closed. I asked one of the staff that was walking throughout the park when the rides and the park would be open again. She stated that we could try going over to town, getting something to eat, and coming back and hopefully the park would be open again. At this time it was 4:00 p.m. We went to our car and drove to a nearby restaurant for dinner. At approximately 6:00 p.m. we arrived back at the gate at Idlewild. I spoke to the gate attendant again expressing my concern earlier about nothing in the park being open. He gave me the phone number for customer service and suggested I try and speak to guest services. He mentioned that during instances when the park is closed for extended periods of time, guest services will offer the customer return passes. When we arrived back at the park we walked throughout the park in the rain. At this time there was still not a single ride operating. We left the park at approximately 7:00 p.m. after seeing that none of the rides or attractions were open. I called the customer service number provided to me on May 29, 30, and 31st leaving a message each day for someone to please return my call. No one ever returned my call. On June 1st I called again and finally spoke to Liz in customer service. Liz explained that under the circumstances I experienced a manager would have to authorize return passes, as she was not allowed to. She stated that she forwarded all my information to the manager "Jimmy" and that he would be in contact with me. She also gave me his direct extension. Jimmy did not return my phone call until I contacted the corporate office. I finally spoke to Jimmy on June 3rd. He explained that he did not have any more return passes, but because of the situation during my visit he would be able to provide me with five return passes but would need to get them from his supervisor. Jimmy stated that he would be calling me back the week of June 5th. Jimmy never called back to follow up the week of June 5th. It is now June 10th and I've received no resolution.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive 5 return passes to visit Idlewild Park with my family like we originally intended to, and were explained was the park's policy during closures. We were deceived to believe the park was fully open when it was in fact not. If passes cannot be given I would like a full refund for the 5 passes I purchased.

Review: WE VISITED THIS PARK ON MONDAY JUNE 20TH. AFTER PAYING 42.99 PER PERSON WITH A SPECIAL OF HALF OFF PRICE AS A BUY A FULL TICKET PRICE FIRST....WE WERE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICE ON THAT PARTICULAR DAY. MANY OF THE RIDES WERE NOT RUNNING OR THEY WERE ABLE TO RUN AND NOT BEING MANNED AND OPERATED DUE TO LOW EMPLOYEE STAFF. IN KIDDILAND..THE TURTLES, AIRPLANES, 3 TURNPIKE CARS RUNNING WHEN 5 ARE SITTING THERE, AND A LONG LINE, THE TILT-A-WHIRL, WHIP, LOG JAMMER AS WELL...NOT RUNNING. IT WAS A 90 DEGREE DAY AND MANY OF THE CONCESSION STANDS WERE CLOSED FOR THE DAY. IN RACCOON LAGOON, THERE WAS NO WHERE TO PURCHASE A DRINK. WHEN I SPOKE TO THE PARK MANAGER HE SAID THE RIDE LIST WAS ONLINE...WHICH IS WAS NOT. IT WAS POSTED ON THE TICKET BOOTH AS YOU PULL INTO THE PARK. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. THE PARK STATES IT WILL CLOSE AT 8:00 BUT MANY SHOPS, GAMES, CONCESSION STANDS WERE CLOSED BY 7:30. IN SOAK ZONE MANY CHILDREN SLIDES WERE CLOSED AS WELL. I GET THE WEEKEND IS BUSY BUT WE PAY THE SAME PRICE AND SHOULD RECEIVE THE SAME EXACT TREATMENT AND HAVE THE SAME RIDE OPPORTUNITIES. I SPOKE TO THE MANAGER VIA EMAIL 3 TIMES WITH NOTHING BUT EXCUSES FROM HIM. 12 OF US VISITED THE PARK THIS DAY AND THE SENIORS WERE NOT PERMITTED TO USE THE COUPON.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE A FULL REFUND FOR THE 10 FUN DAY TICKETS PURCHASED FOR THAT DAY AND UNABLE TO RECEIVE FULL SERVICES THAT THE PARK PROMOTES AND IS OBLIGATED TO SERVICE ITS CUSTOMERS.
