Per our company policies, we are only able to process refund requests in person, no later than the day of the show that tickets were purchased for, as noted on the purchasing and confirmation pages...

on [redacted]: "You will need to present the same credit card at the theatre to process any refunds, cancellations or other problems with your credit card." We cannot issue refunds after the show date, nor via email or over the phone. We responded to an email the customer submitted through our general info box address and provided compensation of equal value, posted to his attention on 12/**/15.

I visited this theater for the Human Rights Film Festival in June. While waiting on line to purchase a ticket I started to experience extreme dizziness and nauseau. Knowing I would faint without water, I walked inside and toward the concession stand to buy a drink. The ticket taker tried to kick me out and then the manager came over also. I begged her to follow me to the bathroom area (there's a water cooler there and if she escorted me or got me water herself that would have been very humane of her). She insisted I had to buy a ticket first. At this point I was delirious and my knees were buckling but she kept giving me the same robotic answer. I rushed outside and collapsed in front of the door. Luckily one of the volunteers for the festival (who are not IFC employees) went inside and got a small cup of water for me. I must have visited this theater 3 dozen times, but the idea of returning since that incident greatly displeases me. Being a POC and someone who works in customer service my first instinct is that my appearance discouraged traditional common courtesy. The idea that a business would rather have someone pass out on their premises than give them water is silly. The fact that it happened during the Human Rights Film Festival is textbook irony.

Review: Tried multiple times to get a response via telephone calls and emails regarding the need for a refund. Calls and emails have been ignored.Desired Settlement: Credit card to be refunded purchase amount.
