On 3/23/14 I broke the screen on my tablet. I contacted this business to get it replaced. The part was not in stock, so the company ordered the part, and charged my account for $143.83. I was told in one week that they would get the part and fix my device. One week later I called the store and was told that it would be an additional week to two weeks before the part would arrive, but no one could tell me when to expect it. One week following I called in to inquire on the status of my order, and was then told that the part was in the store. I took the device in, and was told minutes after I left that they had ordered the wrong part. I was told that the old part was sent back, and the new one was on the way. I asked for my money back, and it was only at this point I was informed of their no return policy. I decided to move forward. I happened to walk into the store on 4/21 and ask if there was an update, and the worker pulled the part out that I was told was sent off, and showed me that it was the wrong part. I was told an employee quit and it was their responsibility to send it off, and it never happened. None of this was communicated with me before. The regional manager was called, and I was offered a refund, I replied that if they could tell me when the repair would be complete they could fix it. Ten minutes later after speaking with my wife I came back and asked for my refund. I was handed a receipt, and told to come back Friday when the manager would be in. My wife returned Friday 4/25 to get my money, and was told rudely that I asked for the repair and couldn't have my money. I came in myself and was told that the part was in (no one told me) and that they could have it done by Sunday, or if not that I would be called by the manager Saturday to let me know. I returned Sunday 4/27 to be told that they had no time to get to my "special order" and I would have to wait. I took my tablet, spoke with the regional manager and was told I would be contacted by 4/30. No word from anyone.Product_Or_Service: Screen RepairDesired SettlementI have eaten the cost of $143.83 for over a month. I want my money back, and a formal written apology to my wife, from the store manager, for the rude way that she was treated when she went to the store to get our money, and for the comment that I ([redacted]) am "much more pleasant to deal with than (my) wife" when I went in after to inquire about not getting my refund.- More info received from the consumer 2014-05-06Was just contacted at about 3pm on 5/6/14 that I would be getting a full refund. Thank you for your efforts and the ability for me to contact you regarding this issue!

Complaint[redacted] brought in, screen was not assembled correctly causing it to crack when I tried to push it in its casing. Store would not replace or fix.March 17, 2015 I visited ifix and repair in Crabtree valley mall. The technician that assembled my phone did not secure the glass with the case of the phone and when I tried to piece the phone back together the screen cracked. I called on 3/18 and emailed the same day requesting help with the next step to get the phone fixed after just spending $112.00 on the 17th, 1 day prior. I never heard back from anyone so therefore I decided to go back into the store and there was a sign on the door that said "be back in 20 minutes". I waited 30 minutes before [redacted] an associate asked me what I needed. I told him my complaint and that I had tried to contact the store and his response was, "well I am on my lunch break so I can't do anything now, it may take and hour I don't know." He then proceeded to say he was texting his manager to see if they could replace the screen for free because that would be the right thing to do since it was no damage done by myself. 2 other customer came in inquiring about their phones and computers and he told them he needed them to get out because he was still on lunch break. The problem is no one returned any of my calls, the customer service was terrible in the store and the manager, [redacted] who I spoke with on the phone offered no solution to the fact his employee and product had failed. [redacted] said my phone was still under warranty but they would have to charge for labor which to me was their fault in the first place so another $50-100 would need to be spent. Very unprofessional, Very rude, seeking advice.Desired SettlementI would like a refund of the money spent on the faulty screen/case so I may get my phone properly fixed at a service provider who has better customer service standards.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted], OwnerContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email:[redacted]I apologize for the experience you had at this iFixandRepair location. Purchased cable after it was tested. I was told it worked on my Ipad when it did not. Refused refund and offered store credit which was not needed. Jul 30 at 6:06 PM On 28 July 2014 at 3:37 I purchased a Apple Iphone 5 Data cable for my Ipad model [redacted]. When I purchased it I provided my Power supply and I pad to insure it worked before I purchased it.[redacted] Plugged it in and stated it was charging, However he did not notice it stated "Not Charging" on the ipad. When I took the cable home and plugged it in It would not charge (from the Power plug nor the computer). I immediately took the cable back to the store and we tried all the Data cable 10's in the store and was told it was a bad batch, and a new shipment was due on weds. and a working cable would be available. We agreed and came in today (Weds) and found the newer cables would not work either. We were offered a store credit but as they had NO other cable (even with the Car chargers) that would work, we asked for a refund.we were asked to wait as they contacted a store/area manager. who refused a refund and only offered a store credit. He would not even talk to me. As I asked if the Item worked on my Ipad and was told wrong at the time of purchase and you have NO suitable replacements available, I feel a full refund is warranted. Please help me resolve this matter soonest.Desired SettlementFull refund and the store Post refund policy to warn other customers.More info received from the consumer 2014-07-31Refund placed back on my [redacted] card. Co. stated refund policy was on the receipt. It should be available BEFORE purchase (close the door BEFORE the animals get out)she also said I didn"t give her time to resolve the issue But as you can see, No timely action was detected until AFTER Revdex.com was notified. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Poor eta. No communication till we arrive in person. Don't answer phone. Ruined 4 screens. Laptop doesn't turn on anymore. Blamed me for broken stuff.I'm not sure on dates because it dragged out for at least 3 months or more. I brought my iPod 4th gen, that had a cracked screen. They said they could fix it within the next hour or so. I paid for the repair and they gave me a hand written receipt. Went to go pick it up and the screen had dead spots on it and I asked them to make good on it and redo it. They said okay. I was told it would be done within the next day and would get a call from them when it was done. I got a call from them saying it was done but they wouldn't answer at all for hours on end when I tried to call back. Went in to see if it was done and had brought in my laptop to have a messed up screen get replaced. Paid for it and again, no repair order, receipt and didn't even write my info on it, model # or anything. (I wrote details on it myself just to help.) Just a handwritten order form w the promise date and to order a new screen and only for their records. I thought it was odd but they seemed to not mind and were serving me based on face recognition at that point I guess. I didn't want to push it cuz it seems like such a nice store and had very friendly staff so I trusted them more. But I was a little nervous cuz of the issues they were having with my iPod but they assured me it's because Apple products are just so sensitive that the screens get ruined during installation quite frequently. Not knowing where else to go anyway; I went against my gut and proceeded. Now I was waiting on two products to be repaired at this time. My iPod and now my HP Windows 8 laptop too. I waited over 2 wks and heard nothing from them. When I attempted to call I never got through even once. I drove there in person again. (A 45 min drive for me which they knew.) When I got there, nobody was there who knew anything about my order. Because I didn't have a receipt, they couldn't figure out anything either. I told them the guy's name was [redacted] who helped me and gave my name and they called him there on the phone to ask him about it and he said it has been ordered and that it would be done soon. Never heard anything still. I called several times to no avail again and drove back there yet again. I asked to see my iPod. The new screen now had another dead spot in it yet again but in a different spot this time. I asked them to redo it again. They said that they had to order more screens and that it would take a little longer this time. I said fine, since I was waiting on the laptop. Didn't hear anything for over 2 wks again. So I went in again after calling several times to no avail. When I got there, the guy there couldn't find me in the system again. I had to describe to him my laptop and tell him what it was getting repaired for. It took him over 15 min to find it AFTER his fellow employee recognized the details I was giving and told him it was done and where it was. He finally found it and brought it out to me. No service ticket. Nothing. Just let me open it based on my word. Well the laptop was done but it wouldn't boot up. I tried for over 20 min there and restarted the thing at least twice and still nothing. By then I was furious but still composed. This was a fairly new computer too. I asked them what happened and again; [redacted] wasn't there so he didn't know what to say. He called [redacted] right there on the phone and asked him about it. He didn't know anything about why the computer wasn't working but said it was done. The guy there, started to try to convince me that the laptop had problems before I brought it in. I noticed the edges of the laptop had been messed up and why it looked like a knife or something had chewed up the corners and the grill over the speakers was all crumpled looking and not lying flush anymore. I also asked him why the edges around the screen were so warped and he tried to tell me it was like that when I brought it in. I laughed and said that is ridiculous and now I'm ticked. I had had enough at that time. I asked for my money back. They wouldn't do it.Desired SettlementI want my money back that I paid for the iPod repair. It still has a messed up screen with a dead spot. I also want a refund for the repair for my laptop. I also desire some or all reimbursement for having to buy a new laptop, along with having to spend approximately $150 more (Staples quote) to transfer the hard drive over to my new computer because I can't even boot it up to use it with an exterior monitor now. (I was at least able to do that before I took it in.) All this resulted from my laptop getting ruined during the repair. I still have not been able to boot it up to this day. I know it's been a long time since it happened but it's been really eating at me and I want this company to be held accountable and I didn't know how to do that until I saw this option on the Revdex.com website when the idea came to me just today. And they don't give money back for repairs either. They refused. They would only do a re-repair. They also wouldn't give out any higher authority or owner contact info either.Business Response Hi [redacted],We would like to sincerely apologize for the issues dating all the way back to March 2015. As a company we want to do the right thing, but it is also essential for customers to have a receipt from our system to be able to track the transaction. We are willing to refund you $200 dollars even though no formal receipt exists. Please present your hand written receipt to the store and they will provide you with the refund.Consumer Response I dont know if I have the hand written receipt, especially since I felt it was not professional at al and probably threw it away after that first time going back. After tha first promise date to pick it up, there were no more repair orders or receipts. And the laptop ticket, I hand wrote my info on the STORE copy as a precaution, so I wouldn't have any trouble getting my identity verified when picking it up. (Not that I even needed it, which I should have in my opinion.) And after being on a first name basis there almost, whenever I went in to see if it was done, I never had to present a ticket or receipt to pick it up either.More Info Received From ConsumerI can't find the original receipt for the iPod repair, but it was around $80 or something like that because Apple charges $100+ something and they take longer to fix, cuz they send it off so I went with iFix and Repair at the time. I do have the proof from my bank account, showing where I paid for the laptop repair though and I can probably produce proof from the bank for the iPod repair but I have a feeling I paid for it with cash at the time. But it was on May 7th of 2015 to be exact, when I paid for ($107.00) and picked up for the laptop repair. I went in several times for that repair, starting in November or December of 2014 I think, and didn't pick up the iPod for good till around March. (I gave up on trying to get a screen that didn't get ruined by them trying to install it and has a bad spot on it to this day, even after putting in 3 more screens.) I believe I dropped off the laptop either in February or March of 2015 while the iPod was still there too, and picked up the laptop in May. I purchased a new laptop in June for around $420 because the one I dropped off for repair, no longer works now. (Booted up just fine before the repair.) I still have not been able to get the files and pictures off of it yet. It costs around $150 to do remove those files off of the hard drive too.

Complaint[redacted] S6 Edge brought in for ONLY screen repair, otherwise great working condition, when phone was picked up will NOT even POWER ON AT ALL. -BRICKEDPlease Note: This is my second attempt to contact business, Sent Certified Letter with Return Receipt to Business Headquarters: [redacted] Blvd. [redacted] XXXXX It was returned with the note of can not be forwarded Problem Details Below:I spoke to [redacted] Manager, on a previous occasion about the damage to my phone screen. I showed him the phone and asked the cost and what is needed to repair a damaged screen. Please note: besides the screen, the phone was in optimal working condition, allowing incoming/outgoing calls and the screen could still accept touch screen commands. Mr. [redacted] informed me to order a Galaxy S6 LCD screen and he would replace it for 40.00.On Friday, August 19 at approximately 5:10pm, I brought in my [redacted] Galaxy S6 Edge (32GB), in working condition, again it would power on, take incoming/outgoing calls and the screen was accepting all touch commands without problems. I also brought in the brand new Galaxy S6 Edge Screen Touch Screen Assembly ordered from Repairs Universe to Mr. [redacted]. Again: the only thing damaged was the screen, and I brought in a viable replacement and to replace the screen. Mr. [redacted] then said "OK, I will take care of it, come back in a couple of hours." I informed him "I will be back around 8:00."At that time nothing else was said to me, and I never signed anything, and there weren't any signs posted on the register or brought to my attention. As I was walking back toward [redacted], out in the mall area, a sales associate, [redacted] called out and ran up to me, he asked me to enter my passcode ** unlock my screen. As instructed, I proceeded to enter my passcode [redacted] the phone and unlocked the phone. I also informed Mr. [redacted] of the code to unlock it, when needed. This further verifies that my screen was working as noted above, even though it was creaked. Upon returning to get my phone at 8:00, Mr. [redacted] said to me "The replacement screen was defective and would not work". I then ask Mr. [redacted] to place my old screen back on my phone and I reiterated "Put it back like it was", which meant the previous state of a functioning phone, taking incoming and making outgoing calls just with a cracked screen. My compliant is when I came back to pick up my phone with my original (cracked) screen at approximately 8:45, My phone has been bricked!!!! This means, it NO LONGER FUNCTIONED AT ALL!! So I went from just a cracked, damaged screen, to a phone that had zero functionality, it would NOT even power up. Mr. [redacted] proceeded to say, "He will fix it if I go half with him to purchase a new screen, and It was NOTHING that he did to cause my phone to break." I know without a doubt that Mr. [redacted] lack of knowledge caused irreversible damage to my phone.Desired SettlementThis situation has caused me severe anxiety, emotional and mental stress. I lost my father to cancer on November 5, 2015, this phone contained the last pictures of my father along with important dates and events, that I did with my father during his last days. NOT only did Mr.[redacted] damage a very expensive phone but he has erased very important, irreplaceable events and memories that I cherished of my father. I can never get those back, I took my phone to [redacted] and they said since it doesn't power up they cannot transfer anything from it. What I am expecting: Cost of my Samsung Galaxy S 6 Edge (32GB Black Sapphire) This phone was purchased for my birthday June 5, 2015, so it was only a Year and 2 months old, estimated value with a cracked screen is approximately $500.00. Replacement cost for an exact phone Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB $714.99, The cost of a replaced screen that was purchased, this screen was stripped of its parts, which it should not have been and therefore it cannot be returned total $178.43.Total replacement and damage charges: $1393.42
