Review: On 3/8, I took an iPod 5th Generation to the company for a glass repair. When first asked what the price was for the fix, I was told $90 to replace the glass. The technician worked on the iPod for over an hour and a half and finally had it almost back together and working properly, he then broke the glass he had put in there. I had to leave and come back for the iPod later in the day. When I picked up the iPod on 3/8, I confirmed the price again in which he stated $90, but I then advised the technician he quoted my husband the price of $85 the day before and his response was, "why didn't you tell me that was your husband". He ended up charging me $85 for the repair. As a note, there are no posted prices anywhere in the kiosk. We brought the iPod home only to find the camera (that worked prior to taking it for the new glass) did not work anymore. I took the iPod back on Sunday, 3/8 and advised them that it did not work and the screen was also streaking white when you turned it off. The same technician looked at the iPod and said that he could not take it apart again that he was afraid he would break it. I advised him that he should give me a full refund as now I have to take it to the Apple store for a repair. At first all he would give me was $20, and I advised him that he had to do better than that. He then said okay $40, and I told him no, that was not acceptable. He said if that was not good enough, I would wait for his manager. I told him no, I wanted to speak to his manager on the phone. The manager [redacted] would not budge on the refund. In fact, he said he would give me a full refund and put the broken glass back on there if the $40 was not good enough. I took my iPod to the Apple store and they will not touch it now that a 3rd party has made changes to the original product, so now I have an iPod that is not fully functional even though it was still working correctly with the broken glass. If a company is supposed to stand by their repairs, you are supposed to stand by it and if it is not fully functional and they cant do anything else, a full refund should be provided.Desired Settlement: I would like the rest of the refund to be provided. I received $40 and I paid $85 for the repair. What really should be done is pay me the difference and an additional amount as I now have to replace the entire iPod in which would cost $249 for a new iPod as it was a 32 GB iPod.
