In regard to the above-captioned consumer complaint, this response is submitted on behalf of Standard Security Life Insurance Company of New York, NAIC ***According to our records [redacted] secured a coverage under a short term medical expense insurance plan under a group policyIHC Health Solutions, Incis the third-party administrator ("TPA")IHC Carrier Solutions provides legal non-TPA management functionsMr [redacted] coverage was effective August 23, through March 11, 2015.Please be further advised that the claims referenced were suspended pending the completion of medical review, including reports from the [redacted] Despite attempts, Insured did not supply the Hospital's requisite authorizations and thus delaying and ultimately preventing complete claims review per the terms of the Certificate.In consideration that the Insured has not provided a duly executed release and authorization naming the Revdex.com as privileged to receive further information related to its short term medical expense insurance plan, a detailed reply will issue directly to complainant-the Insured's spouse [redacted] .Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The representative from company is not addressing why they drafted my account on July for a premium on an account that was cancelled in March, claiming 'No account found.' So how did they all of a sudden locate my account now? I have no problem showing where they drafted my account $on July but when I called in, reps claim they cannot give me any written confirmation that it will not happen again in the future Regards, [redacted]

Please don't get a health insurance policy with this companyI had it from 7-to 1-and they paid nothing towards any of my health care needsThey classified it under pre- exsiting conditionThat is how they get out of paying a billThey take your money but never cover any expensesStay clear of this company, look elsewhere for medical coverage

Careful with this company, they will tell you what you want to hear to get a sellI was buying health, vision, and dental from this company which is what we discussed over the phone only to find out they only sold me health, life insurance, and cancer insuranceWTFAfter calling to cancel the policy I was bullied and threatened to be fined if I did not stay with this policyNeedless to say after being bullied and disrespected on the phone I cancelled the policy IHC Health Solutions are liars and scammers, stay away!!!!

I would like to ad that, since I filed this, I reviewed my bill with my dentist's officeWhen I made the complaint I saw, per my bill, that this insurance company had paid for my preventive workWhen I said that during my call to the company, they said they did pay this ($100) but they don't pay for work done subsequent to the prevention work and it was a six month waiting periodWhen reviewing this with the dental office, I found out that this current company did NOT pay that preventive work/ $It was my FORMER dental insurance company, ***, that paid itSo, while I was complaining about the fact they didn't cover my dental work, they lied to me about covering the preventive workThey didn't pay for that; my former insurance didTherefore, I would like this company to pay my bill and cover the dental work I had done per the agreementI was willing to forgo that and just ask for a refund of my insurance payments, but, since they lied to me while I was complaining to them (!!!), I want them to pay for what they contracted for; the coverage of the dental work I had done

This company is a scam! I purchased a plan while on the phone with the agent The next day I got an email telling me that they have gone green so you have to go to their web site and download your ID card and policy infoTrouble is that there is no where to register on the web site they give youSo, I call the customer service (lol) number they provided in case you have a problemEither you are on an eternity hold, or someone answers, takes your name and number, and no one calls you back Plus, you need your policy or ID number to correspond with them or to cancel the policy of which you cant get until you download it from their web site, of which cant be done Luckily, I put my monthly payment on a credit card so all I did was to dispute the charge and then put a block on them preventing future charges I then received a different email stating that I had purchased life insurance with an undetermined amount to be charged to that same credit card I called this company and they said it came from IHC alsoBut they did hear me out and canceled that policy and removed my credit cardCheck out insurance companies before you purchase it over the phone!

The Madison compliance office contacted me within hours of my complaint to Revdex.com, and shortly after that advised me that IHC had pulled my claims out of their "process" and had acted upon themI was sent a statement on August promising payment and a check for a full settlement was supposedly
issued on AugustIt has yet to arrive as of August, however, and I meanwhile received a form letter from IHC dated August stating that my "appeal" had been received and would be consideredI have made no appeal, as my claims have never been denied or otherwise acted uponThe IHC letter made no specific reference, but evidently was referring to my Demand Letter dated AugustI am guardedly optimistic that the check settling my claims from January and April will arrive soon, but IHC's terrible record to date does not inspire confidence.*** ** *** ***

information for premium payment via *** Dental coverage was issued effective May 1, and premium for the month of May was drafted from the account provided.
Since Ms*** states she did not authorize the bank draft her coverage has been cancelled back to her effective date and premium is being refunded

I was with this company for almost a year They never wanted to cover any medical expenses I had some kidney stones that gave me a problem, I had er visits due to pain, then I had to be admitted to the hospital to have them taken care of twice The insurance company is saying that they wont cover anything due to pre existing condition which if anyone knows anything about kidney stone, they are hereditary and you keep getting them
I paid my bills on time, and I want them to pay my bills that I have sucks that you cant trust a simple insurance company when you need them someone help us out with this company They say I have to file an appeal, but they took six months or more to even say they didn't want to cover anything sucks now im in debt
