Review: I bought a wardrobe online from the Brooklyn Ikea Store, and they failed to send one of the parts. I asked them trice for it, everytime they say it's out of stock and that I should go looking around their stores to see if they have any. So they know they didn't have that part when I first bought it but charged me anyway and sent me the other parts. And now it's me who have to go looking for it. It's a goddamn shame.Desired Settlement: The remaining parts or store credit/refund.

Review: Intitial purchase of several larger furniture items shipped with missing items. One of the doors was missing to the wardrobe I had paid for, the rail (going across the inside of the wardrobe to hang clothes was missing), as wells as the stubbs to hold glass top in place on the dressers.

when the assembly people came to unpack the shipment and assemble the furniture the door and rail were missing so they could not entirely complete the assembly I already paid for. Also 3 of the pieces of furniture were damaged (dented) during assembly. when completing the form after assembly I checked the box stating that the assembly was not satisfactorily completed.

upon calling ikea customer service the first time (the call duration was over 1 hour and 30 mins) they made a case number for my missing door, damaged furniture, missing hang rail, and unsatisfactory delivery service. after hanging up I received an email stating that my case #[redacted] and that the store would be in contact with me within 2 days to resolve the issue to my satisfcation.

over a week passed and I received no call from ikea. I called the customer service again and the representative scheduled a redelivery and assembly window of 9am-3pm for both on the same day for the missing door, rail, and missing glass top stickies. when the delivery arrived it was just the door. the delivery man said he knew nothing about an assembly and I should wait around until 3pm and someone else would come to install the wardrobe door. NOBODY SHOWED UP! WASTED MY ENTIRE DAY!

That same night I then called a 3rd time (over 1 hour lost of my time) and they created case for sending the missing rail, refunding my assembly and delivery charges ($269.00 and $99), and the missing glass stubbs.

I received an email from them shortly after saying nothing about my refund request, the assembly and delivery credit, or the reassembly of the products that still haven't come...and that my items would be fedexed via standard shipping and would take 7-10 business days. AFTER ALREADY WAITING over 1 month! this was on august [redacted]. the order was placed on JULY [redacted]!

I replied and stated this was not acceptable.... no reply from ikea.

I then waited for the products to be delivered and when only the rail was delivered, I called again (another 1.5 hour hold/wait time) to request a re assembly, a refund for the assembly, delivery, and a light/cord that wasn't working. I was assured by the customer service rep this time that she would emphasize in her correspondence with the store manager how escalated the situation had become and how it needed to be expedited so I could move on from all of the inconvenience this has caused in my life. She assured me I would be refunded and that the only reason the store would have to contact me (and promised they would do so by the end of the next day) would be to obtain my credit card # to process the refund with no questions asked.

NO CALL NO CREDIT NO ASSEMBLY

at this point in time it is now 9/*, the order was placed 7/* in the brooklyn store.

I currently have a half assembled wardrobe in my room, and a $259 (assembly) and $99(delivery) charge debited from my bank account for over 2 MONTHS for services that have not been completed as paid for. NOR IS THERE ANY SIGN THAT IKEA INTENDS TO ATTEMPT TO FIX MY SITUATION.

I have never has such a horrible customer service experience!! EVER!! It seems that IKEA BROOKLYN does not care to fix my situation because they already have my money....so why contact me as promised when they can give me a run around until I eventually just give up or forget about these issues. WHAT A SCAM!! WHAT A RIPOFF!!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for all of the below:

the assembly service $269

the delivery fee $99

I would also like a refund for the light and power cord that do not work $29.99 and $5.00 plus 8.8875% tax

TOTAL REFUND: $406.10 REQUESTED
