Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID#? [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: You will be licensed for as stated in your last response which means? you did not have your license to operate the program My son was enrolled in during the school yearI am asking for a full reimbursement of the tuition I paid totaling $(not including the financial aid we received $4500.00) because I did not get a licensed program that was offered and that I paid for.? The program you were offering required you to have a license to offer itThis lead me as a parent to believe? that Iken could legally operate the school program I was enrolling my son intoThis is not the caseBesides not having a license to operate the program, the school also did not have an LNO (Letter of no Objection) required by the deptof Buildings? to run their program safely out of the rented locationThe Letter of? No Objection is required in place of a Certification of Occupancy which allows the tenant to safely utilize the space by limiting the number of people allowed in the space at one timeThe school was denied an LNO for the people it applied for and just recently got an LNO approved for peopleThis means that when my son was enrolled and attending classes he was doing so in a possibly unsafe environment that the school was aware of.? ? The fact that the school was unlicensed and did not have a valid LNO eventually lead to the school being shut down by city investigators for illegal operationMy request for the full $reimbursement standsI am willing to sit down and resolve this issue with the school at any time.? Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] I applaud Iken Science Academy for taking the steps necessary to operate legallyThe fact remains that my son was enrolled in a program that required the provider (Iken Science Academy) to be licensed which it is was notIken science Academy also did not have a valid LNO required to have children in the space used for the unlicensed program during the time of my sons enrollment and attendance at this programThe program was shut down for operating illegally prior to the end of the programI feel I was mislead by the admin staff during the enrollment process and I am requesting a full tuition refund at this timehaving all there paperwork and licenses now doesnt change the fact that they didnt have it during my sons enrollment In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

We were willing to give this parent money due for the days we had to close of programming on May ***, to June ***, He declined and instead felt he was entitled to a tuition refund for a full school year (he also received financial aid) in which his child enjoyed and had a wonderful school experience with no complaints prior to closing the programAs stated Iken was doing programming for almost years until we could no longer do soWe will be Licensed for Fall of and be able to run full day programming if needed

I applaud Iken Science Academy for taking the steps necessary to operate legally. The fact remains that my son was enrolled in a program that required the provider (Iken Science Academy) to be licensed which it is was not. Iken science Academy also did not have a valid LNO required to have children in the space used for the unlicensed program during the time of my sons enrollment and attendance at this program. The program was shut down for operating illegally prior to the end of the program. I feel I was mislead by the admin staff during the enrollment process and I am requesting a full tuition refund at this time. having all there paperwork and licenses now doesnt change the fact that they didnt have it during my sons enrollment.
