This is the emai chain, l am not proud of some of the language I used in the conversation but as I said I was pushed to my limits. You can see the escalation in anger on both sides. I am not the President of Illicit Media, I was Executive Producer of the show. *** is the President and we have decided to keep the video footage .The bottom line is that I can't and will not offer him the footage with my daughter in it because as he has stated it changed the "complexion" of the show. My daughter volunteered to help and be on the show when none of the kids he promised showed up for the shoot. Additionally she helped film 15-20 second nutritional edits to help explain the ingrediants he used and the health benefits they provided.

We offered him an agreement and he decided not to sign the agreement. At this point my partners and I wish no further contact with Mr.. We had intital conversations with Mr. to make this a universally accessible show and ethnically diverse and he agreed to this concept. In addition, we maintained that we would keep control over editing of the final product.

I am saddended by this whole process and the events that took place. Mr. was a friend of my wife's neice and I trusted him. I had no idea he was filled with racial animosity toward me and my daughter. My wife is an African American woman who attended Howard University and UDC. I have made it my lifes goal to end the use of people referring to others as colors, like black and white. Additionally I want to end the use of the term race, it is only use to subjugate and segregate. Thank You for your time ***, please call me when you have read and reviewed this. ***

I agree, "we want a marketable product", but it should be able to identify with the residents of Ward 7. FOOD IS FUN!!! Nutrition Education Program:"Education through Demonstration" is NOT designed to entertain, but to teach, reach, motivate, educate and stimulate the lifestyles of it's population; ie: youth, teens and adults. We want families to enjoy cooking and playing with food!! My vision is to bring residents on the show and to challenge them to utilize all if their senses and helping them to eat more healthier and and promote health and wellness.
