Please note that we received a text message from Ms *** on August 28th stating that they were going to finish the job themselves and to send the $credit I had noted earlier that I would give them I had stated that I would issue a credit based on Ms *** not being satisfied with the
quality of the paint jobWe painted twice and I paid my guys for the work performed, as a result I had stated that I would give a credit due to their dissatisfactionI had also stated that I would not charge an additional amount for the busting up of concrete needed in addition to moving plumbing in effort to help their cabinet predicament outThis was an $800-$1,change order that could have been charged that was notAgain, I paid my guys for the additional work and did not charge the ***'s in effort to help out I did have a challenge with a check given to one of my subcontractors, however I gave them a cashiers check the same day. Ms*** at that time said she did not want me to finish the job and said that they would finish it themselves as well as wanting their credit given to themThe balance due on the job was $1,and at that time we followed her request and let them finishWe have not asked for a balance due do to them having the $Credit as well as the additional amount to be use finishing the house. At the time of the text there was nothing else to be finished except small touch up items approximately $in valueIn spite of all the additional work ($800-$1,000) that we did an effort to try to make things right we just want closure to this ourselves and do not request any additional funding as compensation--------- ~*** *** text copy 8.28.15~ At this point we're going to finish the kitchen ourselvesIf you could just send us the $credit that would be it--------- Best Regards Keith IP*** *** (o) *** (c)
Please note that effective February 29, I have had my contractors in the *** house repairing and tearing out work done previously by other subcontractors. I have spent today over $and labor and approximately $12,in materials tearing out and repairing areas where work was not
done correctlyI believe in standing behind my work and have done my best to correct their situation In spite of their not being a heating and air-conditioning in the initial contract, I have installed a heating and air-conditioning unit at my costIn addition they were supposed to pay for the entire labor for the bathroom and have refused to pay any labor except for the showerThis has put me and additional financial obligation due to them not taking care of what was initially agreed. Furthermore, I have absorbed them going over budget on their vanity where there was $that was supposed of been the budget and they spent over $on their vanity and took it out of my balance due. This situation has been quite disturbing on my side due to my efforts financially and physically to correct things that were done incorrectly by subcontractorsI have not received any favorable reports from them with regard to all the corrections that have been done however we are moving expeditiously to complete their project. As to date what is remaining is touch up painting the upstairs, completing the bathroom that another subcontractor has not completed as well as exterior touchups.
