I purchased windows from Illinois Energy Windows for my home a couple years ago The upstairs is 2-degrees cooler with the a/c on during the summer The house has also been warmer in the winter There are no longer any drafts in my house Our energy bill has dropped nearly 40% lower after replacing the windows Hands down the BEST energy saving purchase I've made for my house!

We purchased a front door with two side lites which was installed May 10, - in THREE HOURS! From the very beginning of our experience with Illinois Energy to very end the professionalism and quality of service was outstandingThe door was a little pricier than I had calculated based on some big box store selections I had been eyeing but it included EVERYTHING - hardware, new interior trim, installation, etc(which my imaginary figures did not include.) The quality and appearance of the door is also outstanding (better than my big box selections) and the big box stores don't offer a year warranty

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 7, 2014/05/22) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Co-Owner Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @illinoisenergy.com Illinois Energy Windows and Siding (IEWS) understands the customers concerns as we are homeowners as wellWe understand how hard the decision can be to move forward with a projectIn this case the representations by the customer are not accurate The customer was happy with the original agreementThe customer decided to move forward with work, and put $3,down as an initial payment for the work for the project It is important to note that the customer chose a very specialized and specific product for the construction and re-siding of their homeIn this case, the customer chose a 1/2" Traditional Insulated Vinyl one-piece corner post in a Slate color and a wood grain finish In the process of measuring for materials for the construction and ordering materials, IEWS learned that the manufacturer could not fabricate a one piece 1/2" Traditional Insulated Vinyl one-piece corner post in a Slate color with a wood grain finish chosen by the customerUpon further investigation and in an attempt to provide such a product to the customer, IEWS discovered that no manufacturer will fabricate this style for the Slate color in the 1/2" size Instead we offered other possible solutions to construct and create a corner post for the customer's home in the Slate color they desired for the projectThis included constructing a 1/2" corner post with better quality materials than the customer desired with no additional charges In fact, one alternative option included wrapping the corner posts with a PVC aluminum coil product to create a 1/2" post in the same color and style the client initially chose for their work on their homeThis PVC aluminum coil product matched the same product and Slate color the client wanted on all their windowsThus, the same material type, style and in the Slate color could be used around all windows and on the corners However, the client would not agree to any of the proposals, which is understandable, especially when certain products that were believed by the parties to be initially available are not available to complete the work Therefore, the customer wants to cancel the contract because the exact specific product that the client desired for the corner of the house, in a specialty color is not available We learned after the contract was signed that no manufacturer will fabricate one of the customer's chosen products in the specialty color the client desired for their homeIn this case, the part does not exist in the chosen color and therefore, in order to have new siding on their home the client will have to use another available options Either way, IEWS would do a beautiful job for this customer as we have done on many homes in Chicagoland for many yearsWe are passionate about our work and making our customers happyThis does not impact our commitment to have the work completed or performed under the contract and to the customer's satisfaction In closing, Illinois Energy Windows and Siding, Inc would be willing to use the Revdex.com Mediation or Arbitration if the customers would like toWe will wait for their reply Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 9, 2014/06/08) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Illinois Energy came out to replace some siding that was punctured from a tree branch that fell from a bad storm and hit my house They had done my siding about a year ago and I called to get an estimate for my insurance They came out and replaced the siding for free

We had a Bay window and Garden window installed in our homeThe installers were AAA carpentersWill be doing business with this company againInstallation was Great and total clean up when they were done

We used Illinois Energy Windows to replace all our windows and patio doorThe workman who installed the windows were very professional and cleaned up afterwardThe customer service before, during and after installation was very good and attentive to our requests Overall, they did a great job and we would highly recommend them

We have used Illinois Energy on two occasions, replacing about windows on our house the first time, and the remaining on the second occasion In both instances, we were very happy with the service every step of the way The initial appointment was very informative and very straight-forward The prices offered were very competitive with other quotes we received, but the quality of the Illinois Energy windows (and the lifetime warranty) helped finalize our decision The construction crews for both jobs were very helpful and efficient I work remotely from home and they had no issue working with my schedule to avoid interrupting important meetings They were able to work very independently (which allowed me to continue my work) and made sure to ask questions when necessary for confirmation of window directionality, as well as asking for permission to move certain items to ensure they were not in the way They were both very professional in their interactions with myself and my wife and were very pleasant throughout the process The second construction crew did an amazingly efficient job, as they were able to complete nearly windows in a days time (previously quoted at days) Despite the fast time, the quality is the same excellence as our first set of windows We would highly recommend contacting Illinois Energy for your window needs!

We had all our upstairs windows, a kitchen window downstairs, and our siding replaced by Illinois Energy We highly recommend them to everyone needing new windows or siding The crew was professional, timely, and always cleaned up after themselves The finished product was beautiful inside and out and made our home look like new Just recently we had an issue with our kitchen window (user error!) and Illinois Energy sent someone out right away to help us Service like that is unheard of When we are ready for the next round of windows Illinois Energy will be our first call
