There was not a problem with the transmission on this forklift at anytime during our testing of the lift, or when the customer inspected the lift prior to pick up No slippage of the transmission has been reported by the customer at any point of the many times that we talked to the customer The dealership is trying to secure a transmission job to make profit off of the customer

It is unfortunate that you believed we attempted to misinform you and sell you a defective productYou were informed by *** that unit which was selected and purchased was in "wholesale condition" therefore understanding the unit will be fully operational and have the possible need for

Illinois Lift Equipment has gone above and beyond to try and satisfy [redacted]. Here is the time line of events:01/15/16 - [redacted] was invoiced for a [redacted], customer was made aware that normal service time is between 12-15 business days from date of payment. 01/21/16 - Payment was received for...

the invoice. 01/27/16 - [redacted] sent introduction email by our customer service department stating that we are close to getting into service.  02/02/16 - Unit put into service.  02/12/16 - Service completed, and unit shipped to customer on the 16th business day.  02/24/16 - [redacted] called and stated that he had an issue with the middle lift cylinder.  [redacted] (service manager) called in [redacted] Equipment to look at the middle lift cylinder to see what the issue was.  Illinois Lift stated that we will cover 100% of the cost to repair this cylinder.  02/26/16 - Spoke with [redacted] Equipment, they told me that the middle lift cylinder rod was [redacted]d, and the cost would be $3,000 to order a new one, but was not available till mid April, spoke to [redacted] told me he did not want to wait that long.  So Illinois Lift Equipment picked up the cylinder and had it sent to a local hydraulic rebuilt company to be looked at.  Illinois Lift Equipment then paid for a rental for [redacted].  03/03/16 - [redacted] called [redacted] to state how happy he was that we were renting him a forklift and wanted to thank us.  03/15/16 - [redacted] wanted us to rent him a bigger forklift since the original one that we rented him was to small. Illinois Lift Equipment called up [redacted] Equipment and rented a 12,000 unit for him.  Illinois Lift paid for all of the changes.  04/04/16 - Rebuilt lift cylinder was installed for [redacted] on his unit, and everything tested out just fine.  05/05/16 - [redacted] emailed me to tell me that he had an issue with a header hose, that will cost him $900.00, and that if Illinois Lift doesn't pay for it, then he will blast us on [redacted] reviews, and the Revdex.com.  He would only take down the bad reviews if we paid him.As you can see from the above time line of events that Illinois Lift Equipment was more than fair with [redacted] on this purchase.  Illinois Lift spent over $1500.00 to rebuild the cylinder, and another $3600.00 to rent [redacted] two different forklifts while he waited.  All of this so he wouldn't have to wait until Mid April to receive the original brand new lift cylinder from [redacted] Equipment.  [redacted] bought a used piece of equipment, and Illinois Lift Equipment helped [redacted] out in every way possible to fix all of the problems.  This forklift was also sold in AS-IS condition and Illinois Lift Equipment still provided excellent customer service.  We will not be black mailed by this customer for a part that failed over a month after we had the unit fixed.

We have taken care of this customer from the start.  Customer picked up lift, that they inspected and signed off on, to notice that the lift has a minor leak on it when they returned to their shop.  The lift did not leak during our inspection nor the customer inspection.  Customer...

brought their lift back to our shop to have a side shift installed, which is the real reason why the lift came back to us, not for the leak.  So we fixed the leak free of charge, but we did not pay freight back and forth since the customer had a side shift installed that they forgot to purchase at the time the deal took place.  Customer had a 30 day parts only warranty on his lift, and we have shipped every single part that they have asked for.  The customer has had the lift since May, and their was no reported problem with the transmission during any inspection by the customer.  The bottom line is the customer bought a good running and operational lift which it was.
