I was locked out of my car and I thought my keys were insideI hated myself for this situation I had put myself inI called Illinois Locksmith team and told them I had been locked out and needed helpThey sent a tech and in no time I had a tech on locationHe opened the car quickly and without any damage to my carThe ordeal wasn't overMy keys were NOT in the carThe tech assured me he would help and cut me a key on the spot! They were fair, quick, and efficientI reccomend them to all my friends and family

We have locked our keys in the house and called themThey gave us a reasonable price to come out and an initial estimateThe person who came out offered to replace the lock for $which was way more than the phone quoteThis is the only service that he offers, so the initial price that they quote has no meaningHe also did not honor the price for service callWe refused his service and it was a very bad experience

It was a sad, sad Friday night when I decided to rush out the door and realized I didn't put my keys in my purseI haven't locked myself out of an apartment in years, so I was pretty disappointed in myself With a dying phone, I quickly looked on [redacted] and was connected to illinois locksmith I gave them my name, address and explained that my phone would be dying soon the tech showed up at my apartment and his ETA was almost exact Once inside the building, it took him all of minutes to unlock the door - impressive! He even consoled me that it happens to everyone, hence the calls in front of mines Thank you, thank you, thank you for turning my night around and being my locksmith/therapist Definitely highly recommended!

Please read the details-very importantThis company is just a big scam! I was charged a fee astronomically higher than originally offeredThey will also take pictures of your credit card and say that it is "procedure"..even though it violates ***s policy (I reported to ***s fraud department and was informed that this is not a safe business practice and no reputable company will do this)The service tech showed up in an unmarked van and I should have seen that as a "red-flag"I called the Illionois Locksmith Team because we got locked out of our home and needed to get back inA technician was at my home about minutes after I called and drilled my lock in less than minutes because he told me it was impsiible to pick (which I found out was a big lie)After the service, I was told my bill was $and they had no replacement lock for meAll they did was drill the lock and leave (took minutes)The average cost of such a service is much much less than I was charged and I feel taken advantage of by a company that knew I needed to get back into my home todayI called The Illinois Locksmith Team yesterday after my service call to ask how the $charge is justifiableI was assured that the billing department would be giving me a call todayThat never happenedI called them and spoke to a manager who said I can't prove they took advantage of me and wouldn't even allow me to get a sentence out over the phoneIt's crazy how people try and justify taking advantage of othersWe live in a broken world, peopleI was the victim of the following classic scam:
The Lockout Drilling Scam
A classic in the arsenal of scam locksmith companies: You have locked yourself out of your home or businessIt’s a horrible feelingWe have all been thereThe "$locksmith" ad that you called promises you a low price to get you back inside your residence or officeWhen the locksmith arrives, he doesn't stick to the original ‘lowball’ quote that you were promisedThey start their lock picking procedureAfter minutes (or less) they announce that there is a problem“You have an un-pickable lock”, they announceThey site one or more reasons for this:
The lock is "high-security"It is an unconventional lockIt is an overseas lock and they don’t recognize itIt has been previously rekeyed to be "un-pickable"One of the pins is "stuck"The technician then drills your lock and charges you an "out-of-this-world fee"There is nothing you can doYou live and learnPlease take the easy route and learn from my mistakeI'm reporting to the Revdex.com and ***'s fraud department and I was assured that there would be an investigation into the vendorWorst experience with any kind of company everIf they want to resolve this complaint, the organization can refund me $and apologize for scamming my wife and I and then yelling at me over the phoneI'm sure that this will happen when pigs flyI got off the phone with the Revdex.com earlier today and the representative recommended that I file a police reportUnless this is resolved, I'm moving forward with it to prevent them from taking advantage of other people in emergency situations

Locked myself out of my condo and called in for serviceSpoke to a rude guy over the phone, who told me that there is a 15$ request fee + additional laborPromised arrival time of locksmith tech minutes
Technician arrived over minutes late and asked for 285$ of labor + the 15$ request fee
A complete rip offI send him away and broke into my own apartment since me my wife and months old couldn't wait another hour for a different company to show up

I own a valet service and u got over charged too many times
When I called the locksmith team they promised a set price and that was what I payed in the end.
