Illinois Natural Pageants

My daughter has never competed in a beauty pageant, so I made multiple inquiries to various directors asking for more informationThis particular circuit appealed to us because it is a natural pageant systemThe director has not been very responsive to my inquires, often taking more than business days to respond to messages, with very brief responsesThere are several [redacted] pages for this particular system instead of just one page, and I also notice to date some questions go unanswered for quite some time on her pagesI assumed she was just busy, so we were planning on doing a Christmas pageantWe already purchased a dress and fabric for an outfit of choice, and then the date for the pageant got changed to a day my husband cannot attend - we decided ultimately to find a Christmas pageant with a date that would work better for our familyWe found it through the Illinois Pageant Calendar page on Facebook, which is public and allows all Illinois pageants to advertise their eventsI asked a question about pageant routines and what is expected from girls my daughter's age and became engaged in a conversation with other women, including the director for the pageant we plan to attend in DecemberWhen I went back to read the post, I discovered I was removed from that pageI also noticed the other director and her event posts were also removed for no apparent reasonI never misspoke about IL Natural Pageants but did speak highly of the other director because I think it is helpful to other newcomersI discovered the admin for that particular page is the director for IL Natural PageantsRather than removing me and the other director, she could have said something along the lines of hoping we could attend a different pageant on a date that worked better for our familyWe considered trying one of her pageants next year, but that is no longer an option for usI gave her the benefit of the doubt, but my instincts were correct in the first placeI find this type of behavior very unprofessional and a very poor example to the young girls and boys who compete in these pageants

I too had a bad experience with this system The director is VERY unorganized and doesn't really know what she is doing in my opinion We attended one of her pageants and she didn't even have a judge! She ended up using her teenage son to judge the pageant!!
