a "huge spot" there in FACT WAS NO SPOT to be found. I even sent a picture of the supposed spot back to the [redacted]s and asked "where is this supposed to be"??? In her "complaint" Mrs [redacted] stated we "later came up" with a blaming it on humidity. The humidity was measured THAT DAY and was found to be at OVER 46%!! ( mid winter acceptable levels are around 31-34%). THIS IS HOW many condensation problems exist in the 1st place. We left them with a hydrometer and explained how ventilation worked at needed times. AT NO TIME did I EVER SAY "we missed some spots" BUT RATHER stated that we added and squeezed in even more.To make them happy. The construct of the roof vs wall is very odd at best. ( there is a "gap" between the two) and this also was explained to them. Another matter of contention seems to be the inability to understand ( many times) that in no way can a condensation problem be detected / diagnosed in SUMMER TEMPS ( over 65 degrees) . But yet were expected to somehow solve this problem in mid summer. In several of the conversation's [redacted]s admitted that "95% of the entire problem" WAS IN FACT FIXED! but sans for one spot in the daughters bed room that we had already told them could not have ANY MORE insulation PUT IN IT due to the way the corner was designed. ( you can not even get a flat scraper between the space's) There is nothing more that can be done without tearing away the brick on the outside. ( this ALSO was discussed as to why there was so much LEFT OVER BRICK from before they purchased the house,.. SOMEONE had been doing some brick work and brought in WAY more than needed! Also... WE DID attempt to come back another time and Mr [redacted] was not there as we had discussed and even texted me he was sorry for the mix up. ALSO the main worker on the job who can attest to the "re doing" and how the wall/ roof design is, as well as the ,missed appointment is now in Afganistan as a military contractor and will be back for 3 weeks after Oct 22nd. When he does he can also be reached insofar as to support my statements here. ( [redacted]). In summary we have done all we can at this point.
