I was signed on Jan 16, to do rentals as well as Flowers for they're wedding on May 6, There were many changes, additions and cancelled items in the months following the contract signingI do invoicing and business the old fashioned way, I write out orders on printed invoices (as
attached) so sometimes when I get many changes , mistakes can be made as far as accounting which we did go over and I had found my mistake and it was corrected so she was not charged those mistakesI had experienced extreme temper tantrums and threats by Miss *** over and over everytime SHE had made the changesI tried to calm her and reassure her that all of her wedding would be done perfect and I would do the best I could as I do for all my clientsThat I have had NO COMPLAINTS and have a star rating for this reasonShe continued to question my accounting and abilities and then threatened to post all over social media and etchow unprofessional I amI said I was going to take care of everything perfect not to worryAfter these threats, I asked that she sign a statement that they would not cause Libel or deframe my name if I if in fact did as I am contracted to doI was trying so hard to reassure them they could count on me to make they're wedding beautiful! They then agreed, so when we both agreed on the proper wording of this statement which was typed up and given to them as well( I have this copy if needed) Understand threats of your abilities and livelihood of my small business here in San Diego since year with such good standings are not goodThey left the office and were going to sign it then return the next day with itI never threatened to NOT provide what they had contracted for IF they did not sign itI had complete intentions of doing all I was contracted toThey assumed this I am guessing Then days later on April 12, I got the text that they WERE IN FACT CANCELLINGI sent a check for the 50% refund ($1150) to the address they had requested as shown and the terms signed to by *** *** to on my contract/InvoiceI also refunded the 50% ($76.50) to the credit card that was used by another party to pay the remaining balance of $We were charged with a charge back of $76.50 which was our portion to keep but chose NOT to dispute thisWe refunded them right away so they could use this to get another vendor asapThe 50% cancellation so close to a wedding event is for the sole purposes that we had put out at least this much to secure outside vendors, rentals & flowers deposits for they're event, that I had also signed were non refundableThe reason is because when we reserve we are taking all these items out of our stock and cannot from that point on be rented and making deposits that we don't get refunded forI have lived up to our contract and I would have made they're wedding a gorgeous day if they had not cancelledAs you see they did, monies due back was returned in a very timely manner as well.I don't know what else I can so more than I have already.The total of Invoices was $2453(see breakdown & attached copies)$Cash paid - Refunded $Check 4/13/& Was Cashed on 4/24/2017$Credit - Refunded $+ $Was Charged back Thank you, *** *** Owner Only Prettier!
