Review: I purchased a Groupon deal for $129 for 4 weight loss treatments, and had my first treatment on May 14, 2013. The treatment involved electric currents into my muscles, and was very uncomfortable. For several days afterward I experienced residual pain. On May 31, I had to have major surgery, and will be in recovery for an extended time. Yesterday, I spoke to a woman at Image Health, and explained my experience at the clinic, and my health circumstances, and asked if I could (1) receive a pro-rated refund for the remaining sessions or (2) apply the remaining credit toward another service or product they offer. She flatly refused saying I either had to use the remaining sessions, give them to someone else, or lose the money. I then contacted Groupon, but they gave me the same options.

Because the service was painful, I cannot in good conscience recommend the service to another person, nor do I wish to subject myself to further discomfort...even after my recovery from surgery. I want to post a complaint, in hopes that other consumers may avoid a similar experience. I would still like to receive a pro-rated refund, or would consider using the credit toward another product or service, provided it would not endanger my health.

With reference to the above case, Ms. [redacted] purchased a groupon for 4 treatments at our office. Ms. [redacted] had a treatment May 14, 2013.
Ms. [redacted] Called our office in Gold River on July 23, 2013 @ 3:45 p.m. requesting a full refund, I spoke to [redacted] and informed her I was unable to do so, because she did not pay us she paid Groupon and would have to go thru them to receive a refund.
I reminded Ms. [redacted] she had already used one of her treatments therefore she had the option of finishing her treatments or transfer to someone else. Ms [redacted] would not hear of this, she wanted us to provide her with something else instead of her treatments, unfortunately our office only provides the one service. Ms. [redacted] became very agitated hung up.
Our goal at Image Health is to provide the best quality service.
