Review: Image Pattern Services was hired to produce samples and patterns for my fashion line. The company was provided with materials, sketches and payment to begin production of the pieces. The company provided patterns and samples after the deadline for which everything was supposed to be completed. Every pattern and sample measured incorrectly. None of the samples were the correct size. The garments were poorly constructed as if put together by a beginner instead of a professional factory. Garments were constructed incorrectly; not according to sketches. Fabric was also damaged by this company. The craftsmanship was subpar. The factory promised to fix the issues in time but did not deliver as promised and then did not accept responsibility for not providing the garments on schedule and did not accept responsibility for their errors. The factory failed to fix any of the pieces as they initially said that they would do. The factory failed to complete the assignment by the target date and did not construct all of the samples and patterns that they were paid to do. As a result a key event was greatly impacted due to the lack of professionalism and because the job the factory failed at the job they were hired to do. The company failed to finish all of the samples and patterns and of the finished pieces, every piece had something wrong with it from incorrect measurements, incorrect design and/or horrible craftmanship. The company did not offer to repay for any fabric even though they messed up every garment. I asked for a refund and have not received one. Image Pattern Services lacks customer service as they have not resolved this outstanding issue and the company lacks professionalism and skill. This company took my money and did not deliver in any way. I am now having to pay to have their mistakes fixed.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund made payable by cashier's check, certified check or money order sent via United States Post Office with delivery confirmation and certified in the amount of $1,568.75

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

No payment has been received. Payment was due March *, 2015. It is 23 days past the due date. There is no proof of a check being mailed. I specifically asked for a certified check, cashier's check, or money order and for that payment to be sent certified mail or with delivery confirmation to avoid any "lost" mail. [redacted] specially said he would only send a business check. When I asked if the check was mailed certified, he replied he was too busy and did not have time to wait 45 minutes in the post office to send the mail certified. Pretty soon after he stopped responding to my emails in regards to the fact that it had been over one week and no "payment" had been received and still has not been received.

Response:

Hello, Customer is making false statements: 1. Customer didn’t provide all fabric and trimmings to complete the samples. The day before of deadline, customer came to our office rushing to buy materials and I personally purchased some material to complete the order. In this business customers need to do fitting to make adjustments before the order can be completed; however as a business policy we tried to satisfy all customers even though some material is missing. We tried to help the customer with this samples but she was unprofessional and abusive to all employees. We provided all the samples on the deadline and customer took the garments as we promised to deliver. If for any reason the customer was unsatisfied with the production, it would never be accepted because it was delivered in person 2. Customer claimed she has the garment but we were informed by another customer who was inquiring for cost of production for same garment. See website to show garments are available in the market: [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

As addressed before, the reason I purchased additional fabric and was rushing was to try to save my show. Image Pattern Service missed the initial deadline and had completed no (0) samples for my fitting that they were aware of. They told me that the pieces would be ready later in the week. When I went back on the agreed upon date, Image Pattern Services had not completed the samples or patterns. Fabric that was originally delivered in June was still sitting (on the floor)- untouched. Because the samples that were actually completed were measuring incorrectly, [redacted] told me that he would not give that pattern maker anymore work but that everything would be corrected and ready for my show date (the reason they were hired). Once I arrived to the factory the day before my show [redacted] told me that he could not have the pieces ready for my show (the next day), in panic mode, trying to make an effort to save my show- I went and purchased more/additional fabric because the factory had completed a sample wrap dress for me previously (that was not a part of this order for thisshow) but was still at the factory and because that pattern was supposed to have been completed- I needed pieces to send down the runway after Image Pattern Services failed to meet all prior deadlines. So, in a last effort I purchased additional fabric only because Image Pattern Services did not complete the original patterns correctly or completely for this job, for my show. [redacted] assured me that his factory could produce the wrap dresses so that I could at least have pieces to send down the runway. I was being very flexible in trying to work with the factory and problem solve so that my show at NYFW would not be a total disaster. So, yes I purchased fabric, as previouslyaddresses only because Image Pattern Services failed to meet all deadlines and deadline extensions. I was not unprofessional or abusive, this is slanderous; as I only addressed [redacted]. Image Pattern Service has been completely unprofessional, producing very amateur and incomplete work and further more taking my money and not providing the patterns or providing the correct samples. I asked [redacted] tofix everything he told me there was no time and I was leaving the next day after my show. [redacted] was aware of how unacceptable I felt he and his company had conducted business. After I returned home communication was established with [redacted] via email and text where he apologized and admitted fault on his company’s behalf for the pattern maker messing up and for the samples being incorrect; he later agreed to provide me with a refund.2. Image pattern Service has been contacted by my attorney which establishes proof that samples are still in my possession and have never been sold in the market. Image pattern Services again is blatantly lying- those pictures are labeled from the runway- the reason Image Pattern Services was hired and the pictures are from the same day that I picked up the messed up samples and the rest of my fabric that was never touched or turned into samples, as agreed upon and payment made. Furthermore, the link inserted by Image Pattern service in their answer shows garments from the Runway that were not even produced by Image Pattern Services, but instead by another business;which shows Image Pattern Services is further fabricating information. I am requesting a full refund for which I paid for 11 samples and 9 patterns.
