Imaginations Early Learning Center

Review: I would like to formally report Imaginations Early Learning Center in [redacted], MD. While my 2 year old son was in the care of Imaginations on October 22, 2013, he was unsupervised in the concrete playground area and suffered a fall that jammed his tooth so far back in his gums that he had to have the tooth extracted. The center did not report the incident and I only found out after my son who does not speak yet came home and pointed to his mouth in anguish, then is where I discovered his injury. The director told me that they did not know exactly how he fell and that the assistant who was out there with the infants, 2 year olds, 4 year olds, 5 year olds, and 3 years olds forgot to report it immediately through and incident report and proper notifications. I contacted my sons dentist thereafter and since the office was closed as it was 5pm, he was scheduled for an emergency extraction the next morning. The dentist stated that they could not leave the tooth because of its positioning and the possibility of harm to the adult tooth coming in next. This business failed to appropriately watch my 2 year old, had too many age groups in the play area without enough adults supervising, failed to administer proper first aid, and failed to fill out an incident report immediately following so that notifications could have been made. I am disheartened by their level of service and wonder what other accidents they cover up.Desired Settlement: Public notification to aviod furthur covered ups
