Dear Service Representative [redacted]
The vehicle vin#[redacted] 2003 [redacted] CTS was purchased by [redacted] on 3/11/14.Customer did contact us in...

reference to the car not passing inspection and we asked her to come in so the problem can be fixed. She said that there wasn't a rush being that they gave her a paper from [redacted] for it to be fixed within a timely manner. With failure to come fix the problem on the car the customer then called the dealer stating that her car was over heating and that all the lights were on on the dash board. . The customer broke down at night after the office was closed, the next morning we had the vehicle towed to the dealer. We inspected the vehicle and the serpentine belt was broken.
The customer did contact this office to ask what was being done to the vehicle and we explained to her that we have paid for repairs. Do to the customer driving  the car with the broken serpentine belt for such a long time (without repair) it has caused damage to the engine. We are willing to do the repairs in good faith as we have paid for all other expences. The customer isn't willing to come in and dicuss the options in reference to her vehicle. She has a warranty which covers 50%- 50%on the repairs for the first 30 days or 1000 miles which ever comes first.
We try our hardest to accomidate our customers in any way we can. After the verbal harrassment/ threats we forwarded the info to our lawyer and stop communicating with Ms. [redacted] and extended family.
f you have any questions please contact us at ###-###-####.

I am rejecting this response because: I wanted to get my car into the shop as soon as possible. I didn't want to drive around with a rejection sticker on a car I just purchased. They kept telling me that they had to talk to the mechanic to see when I can bring the car in. The car never over heated. My serpentine belt broke when I was on my way to work, that was around 12:30 pm. I stopped at a liquor store to see what was wrong with the car. I didn't see anything. I got back in the car to leave and my wheel wouldn't turn. I called my brother to come and get me and that's when he said my serpentine belt broke. I left my information with the business and told them the car will be towed by the dealership. They didn't pick my car up until four days later. Once they picked the car up I called a couple of days later to see what was going on and I was told that they replaced the serpentine belt and they test drove the car and everything was ok and all they had to do was take the car down to another shop to fix the exhaust leek. I called two days after that and I was told that they ran into a problem while fixing the exhaust. They said that the engine stalled. They told me that it was not worth fixing so they were going to try to get me into another car. The finance company said no and it is their responsibility to fix the car. Once they got an estimate on how much it will cost to fix, that's when they started saying that I had to pay to fix it. I don't think its fair that they want me to pay for something that they did. Yes I did tell them that I'm taking them to court and I am. I'm just so disgusted with Imagine Auto Sales. I'm sorry I ever went there.
Regards,
