Review: In November 2012 I ordered a wedding dress from [redacted] Bridal Couture and left a $1400.00 deposit. In February 2013 I returned to the store for a veil show. [redacted] was not there and [redacted] told me that they had partnered. He assured me that my dress had been ordered and that he would personally check on it and get me a delivery date. When I did not hear back from him, I called the store and was told my dress would be in by May *, 2013. I started making calls to the store in early May. After several days of leaving messages, [redacted] called and told me there was a problem with the dress. He went on to explain that [redacted] was no longer in business with him and that she owed the dress manufacturer money and they would not release the dress to the store. He told me to give him one week and he would try to resolve the problem. A month went by with no word from him. I went to the store on June **, 2013 to ask for my deposit back. After 30 minutes of discussion, [redacted] wrote me a check for the $1400.00 deposit refund. The check had now been returned for insufficient funds. [redacted] has not returned my phone calls to him.Desired Settlement: I would like the deposit of $1400.00 returned plus $15.05 for bank fees.
Review: The owner took my credit card info under the premise that it would not be billed for a bridesmaid dress until all bridesmaids were fitted / order the dress. When the bride decided not to use them because their prices were higher than another store, my credit card was processed. When I called to fight the charges I was told someone would call me back and no one ever did. When I contacted my bank, after being under investigation, the owner told the bank that I picked up the dress. I NEVER received any product or goods from this store and now I am fighting with my bank to credit the funds since it was never authorized.Desired Settlement: I want the $200 that they charged my card back into my account since I never received any goods or products.
