Stay away and save yourself the drama, hassle and anxietyI purchased a Lexus CT200h from Dana at the dealership in OctoberTest driving the car was easy and rode wellDana was super easy going and made the experience pretty alrightI was told that the crew had left so they couldn't clean it, but I could bring it back in for the extra coating I paid for and a detailed cleanWhen I got it back after clean, I noticed the tint all all of the windows was bubblingI reached out to the salesman to have it fixedWhen I brought it in to have it "fixed" they took it down the road to a local shop and gave me a rentalFigured I would be getting my awesome new car back later that evening with a fresh new tintDana had left and asked me to meet Mark, the sales manager, to get my keysI got down to the dealershipParked the rental next to my car, and looked at itI noticed the tint came off, but was not put back onI asked the receptionist for MarkShe called, then said she would see if she could find himI waitedA few minutes later she appeared with my keys from the sales officeI felt avoided at this pointSo I asked her if Mark let her know when the tint was being replacedShe apologized and went to ask himShe came back saying he wasn't sure and advised me she would have Dana call meI got a call on my way homeI was understandably upsetI had just spent $30,on a four year old car that had tint which was taken away from meDana explained to me that the tint was illegal in Minnesota and they should have caught this and removed it during the inspection and lexus certification process but failed toI asked when they would be replacing it, as this was what I considered fixed but he could refer me, at my expense, to a local shop to have it retintedNot what I wanted to hear, but whateverI wrote the tint off, but now consider the whole car to be a mistakeTwo months later, my husband wrote a fair and honest review of our experience buying the vehicle on googleAlmost immediately I started getting phone calls with no answerBeing that I work for a living, I can see my cell phone ringing, but I am busy, I can't answerEspecially when caller ID shows "LEXUS OF WAYZATA"Great what do these a**holes want now? They'll leave a message if its importantNopeNo message, must not me importantI get back to work and forget about it until a few minutes later my phone rings again"LEXUS OF WAYZATA"Ok weird but hey, they forgot to leave a messageStill working thoughNo messageOkwell figure its a glitchNext dayI get three calls while I am workingThis time there was a messageMark from Lexus wants to discuss my review onlineAt this point, I have no idea what he's talking aboutHusband and I talked, agreed that it was a fair reviewThey won't take the car back, why waste more of my life on themThis time the calls are from Mark's personal cell phoneHeads up guysCaller ID is still a thingI get more messages telling me to call him back to discuss the reviewI wrote the experience off, let the anger goUntil he started emailing me on top of calling meNever once met this guyHe had one oppurtunity to be a manager and save the entire Toyota family of vehicles a customer when I was standing in his lobby talking to the receptionistShe rocked BTWI emailed back asking him and his general managers to stop contacting me and to cancel my additional service agreement and extended warranty, I didn't want to go back to the dealership after being treated like thisGeneral managers failed to respondInstead Mark, unapologetically sends me the cancelation formThis was before ChristmasA MONTH LATER I just now get confirmation from Lexus financial that they canceled ONLY the service agreementThey sold it to me with an illegal tint on it after it was supposedly inspected for safety I can't trust Lexus, shame on me.They admitted they shouldn't have sold the car, treated me like an ex-girlfriend and don't refund the money they owe mePS They overcharged me $on registration
Treated with utmost disrespect from a place you'd expect to be treated highly from, since the place calls itself the "Elite of Lexus"! Today I came in interested in upgrading our family carMy wife and I had been doing some research and decided we would like to go with Lexus's new GX model since we have a Toyota 4Runner nowBeing in the line of work that I am in, I wasn't dressed like all the people thereNo one asked me if I was being helped or offered to help meI asked the receptionist to find someone to help meWhen the sales man (Jamie) came up to me he looked me up and down and said "yesWhat can I do?" I proceeded to ask a few questions about the car to only get short "yes" and "no" reply with this strange look on his face as if I'm wasting his timeWhen asked to see their LX model, since it's the next step up from GX, he went to show me the GX saying it's an LX, realizing it's not the LX he then says they sold it and don't have any on the grounds to show meThat was about it for our conversation with JamieIt seemed like he didn't want my business at allWe will be taking our business elsewhere so no worriesOh and by the way their LX model was sitting out side on the parking lot with all the stickers on it!
