My car trailer wheel bearing went bad on the Powhite Parkway around dusk. After an infuriating time with my insurance roadside coverage and them denying coverage for a tow (which [redacted] DOES offer and I DO currently have on my policy) I fortunately contacted I’m Broke Down towing. Don’t let the name fool you, he named the company after the first thing most people say to him when he answers the phone: “I’m broke down”. Makes sense to me!
He took the time to come assist me with unloading the vehicle out of the trailer, helping me remove the damaged wheel and slowly driving back to his shop to repair the damage.
I cannot speak highly enough about his manner, his personal integrity and the way he chose to run his business. He is an asset to drivers through Richmond, even offering a program for DUI avoidance by flat rate towing a car if you have had too much to drink.
I am thoroughly impress and would recommend him to anyone in the community.

Review: My car broke down and I called [redacted] which contracts [redacted] who contracts a variety of tow truck companies. Imbrokedown.com picked up my car on 2/15/15 from downtown Richmond and towed it to my mechanics residence on the South side of Richmond. The driver claims that he left my key inside the vehicle on the floor board. Upon my arrival to the vehicle, the vehicle was locked. I used my spare key to unlock the door (the spare only unlocks the doors) to look for the real key. I searched the car but there was no key. I called the driver who very nastily told me he did not have time to speak to me and that he left the key on the floor board of the vehicle. I then checked again, NO KEY! When I called the driver back he yelled at me and told me that he left the key on the floor board and hung up in my face. On 3/9/2015 I called the owner of Imbrokedown.com, named [redacted] who told me his company has never lost a key but he would check the drivers' truck to see if he sees it and call me back. He never called me back for two days. When I called him on 3/11/15 he stated that he did not get back to me because the truck didn't come back that day until late but he would go and check it now and call me back. He called me back 15 minutes later and says that the key was not there and that there was nothing he could do except take his drivers' word that he left the key on the floor board. This key costs approximately $295 and I should not be held responsible for this. I expect that someone other than myself should accept responsibility for this companys' actions. There are a few other particulars involving this case but I do not have enough space to type them all.Desired Settlement: I would like my key replaced.
