I am rejecting this response because: It is just a set of liesFirst, I am aware of any credit to my account and I have never received any boxes of material nor the UNIFIX toolThis is all new to me.Secondly, the office is maintained and cleaned by a professional cleaning businessThey know exactly what to treat and maintain laminate and hardwood floorsThat's what they do for a livingThey are maintaining my other location in Vallejo with laminated floor also and that location have no swelling problemSo, liquid or spills are not to blame hereMost of the swelling are not near water, bathroom or kitchen sinksIf it is site related as claimed, the swelling should affect the entire office and not only specific areasSo, why 98% of the floor in the office is all fine and good, and the swelling appeared only in some areas?Thirdly, all the swelling are appeared mostly in the hallway, the front door and at the exam room door where there are no rolling wheeled chairsBesides, all our chairs are soft rubber wheeled chair and all are behind the reception desk and the dispensing tablesThe reception and dispensing table areas where the chairs are located show no indication of swellingThe rest of our chairs are in the waiting area and those chair are stabled chair with no rollersAgain, the waiting area where those chair are located show no indication of swellingSo, please, stop trying to find excuses Be a business professional, face the reality and the quality of some of your product, take responsibility, stand behind the quality of your product and correct it [redacted]

We are shipping cartons of *** *** Eligna Uand a *** tool to Omega Floors on Monday August 28th on reference number Because this is not a warranty related issue *** *** is offering the cartons of material and *** tool as a courtesyBecause this is not a manufacturing defect the labor to replace the affected planks is not included

Mr*** purchased the *** *** Flooring From Omega FloorsOn 5/3/Omega Floors submitted a request to our company for an inspection to evaluate Mr*** flooring for swelling seamsOur company contracted certified independent inspector *** *** to evaluate the flooring, installation
and environment to determine the cause of the swellingI received the completed report from *** *** on 5/15/The inspection determined the issue was site or maintenance relatedI forwarded the inspection report to the manufacturer *** *** for review on 5/18/Jane Winters the warranty manager with *** *** reviewed the inspection report and concluded the inspector assessment was correctOn 5/24/*** *** supplied a determination letter with a full explanation of the findings and a copy of the warranty and maintenance instructionsThey also offered cartons of material and *** tool at no charge to replace the affected boardsI supplied all of the above documentation to the retailer Omega Floors on 6/6/Below I have pasted an excerpt taken from Quick Steps letter that was provided to Omega Floors"No liquids should ever be applied directly to the floorSpills should be removed immediatelyI have attach our Quick-Step Maintenance Instructions to share with the cleaning service used at this commercial establishmentBased on the results of the independent inspection report (attached), we have found no indication of manufacturing defects or warranty covered issuesThe inspection also photographed many rolling chairs in the officesPlease ensure all of these chairs have soft rubber wheels suitable for hardwood flooring, not hard plastic that will damage the floor over timeFortunately, the swollen planks in the isolated areas may be easily replaced thanks to our patented Uniclic jointUsing the *** tool, the planks may be removed and replaced without removing lightweight furniture, properly installed trims, or the remainder of the floor, even from the middle of the room; without dust or sawingAs goodwill, we have credited boxes of material and a *** tool to facilitate repair of the damaged planks"This complaint was declined because there is no evidence of a warranty related issueIf any of the documents mentioned above are needed to resolve this complaint please let me know and I can supply themThank you *** *** Claims Manager B.RFunsten & *** *** ***

That's what they do for a living. They are maintaining my other location in Vallejo with laminated floor also and that location have no swelling problem. So, liquid or spills are not to blame here. I am rejecting this response because: Quick Step refuses to honor their so called 5 years warranty on their product and wanted to settle the issue by sending 2 cartons and the so called UNIFIX tool. They claim that it is easy to replace the affected planks with the help of the UNIFIX tool, but they refused to include the labor and have their installer take care of it. They know that replacing those planks will involves more than the UNIFIX tool and it is not going to be that easy as they are claiming.
