Upon further review, we can confirm Ms. [redacted] was refunded for the charge dated August 21, 2015 in the amount of $19.99. The charge dated July 3, 2015 in the amount of $19.99 was not refunded. Based on our records, the charges were applicable as Ms. [redacted] did access her IMDbPro subscription on several occasions throughout the month. RE: IMDb Employees Using IMDb Data for fraud, theft, and identity theft
The police, lawyers, and Screen Actors Guild (“SAG”,) have all repeatedly documented the changes made by IMDb were false, and used in furtherance of FRAUD and THEFT.
Clearly, this is not an error, because this information is unequivocally false and unverifiable. In fact, the “alternative name” is NOT a name appearing on any credit.
Indeed, the false contact info was IMMEDIATELY used to divert and steal residual payments.
Certainly, an IMDb EMPLOYEE is behind this, because the false information is "locked" and cannot be edited, and also, the false information is contrary to IMDb's own policies, and also, IS NOT VERIFIABLE, thus someone employed at IMDb had to "override" IMDb's system in order to commit this fraud.
IMDb’s policy states: "Alternative Names -- This section is closed. If you want to add an alternative, searchable name to show variations in the way a person is credited (for example, if the primary name is 'John Smith' but they are sometimes credited as 'Johnny Smith'), go back and edit the appropriate filmography credit, then add (as Johnny Smith) to the attribute field. To edit existing alternative names, follow the same process and check for 'as' attributes on the existing credits - please note that these attributes should reflect how a person is credited on screen. If you want to add an alternative name that is not connected to a filmography credit, please go back and add a Birth Name (for birth names only, not stage or professional names) or a Nickname (for everything else)."

Firstly, I can confirm IMDbPro does not have access to Amazon credit card information. We, in no way, bill credit cards based on any other method outside of signing up for a free trial or subscription.
Our records indicate there are several subscriptions associated with the domain name...

"@[redacted].com".  Ms. [redacted] has contacted our team directly on several occasions regarding billing issues, with February 28, 2016 being the most recent. Our team was able to locate the subscription associated with the credit card information provided and can confirm it was associated with an active subscription that was not yet canceled. This would explain why the credit card was charged, as all terms of service explain you must cancel within the free trial period, or the trial is converted to a paying subscription.
Based on our information it seems Ms. [redacted] was unaware of the alternate free trial created with a different "@[redacted].com" email address. We have since canceled this account and have refunded all subscription charges associated with the account.
