You are contacted by IMG Pacific Holding for a Project Manager position where they bring you on for a contract to perm position. This is all dependent on a pre-screen process which includes the execution of a project that entails purchasing equipment with your credit card through a pay-off system using a corporate account number. Company is hard to get a hold of on the phone and will not allow you a different way to purchase items without using their corporate card.
I decided not to go through with the process so I'm not sure if this is legitimate or not but I would be very cautious of this company. They also send an employment agreement to sign as a 1099 worker where you get paid for the screening process but I have not received a paycheck. I believe these business practices are too risky to be a legitimate company.
I am contacting the FBI and Homeland security to verify this company.
