Dear Mr [redacted] : I am sorry that I took so long to respond to your complainant, I have been on the mainland I understand your frustration regarding this issue and would like to help you any way I can It is my understanding after reviewing your invoices and talking with Daniel that the wax seal under you toilet was leaking due to the condition of the flooring beneath it causing the toilet to rock and break the seal Whether the floor was simply not even or flat or the floor needed to be repaired due to previous water damage, I do not know, but this was Daniel’s diagnosis Resetting it without fixing the floor even if shims were used would have only been a temporary fix and would eventually leak again I understand at the time that you did not want the toilet shimmed or a credit as Daniel offered you at the time, but instead a discount on repairing the flooringUnfortunately, we do not do this type of work and I would want to make sure that you get a professional job However, I can refer you to someone who repairs flooring In addition, I apologize for the fact that our technician who snaked your line and reset your toilet did not notice the condition of the floor when he reset it Unfortunately this type of problem sometimes goes unnoticed until it causes a problem as it did in this case I cannot go back and correct this but I can offer you some money back from your previous visit Please call me at my office 262-at your earliest convenience and let me know what you would like to do I am extremely sorry for any inconvenience or stress that this situation may have caused you and hope that the solution I have proposed is satisfactory Sincerely, Karen D [redacted] President A-Budget Plumbing
