Immediate Acquisitions Reviews (%countItem)

Paid to have time share transferred was never done nor was our money returned.
June 18, 2016 signed and paid for time share transfer. No calls were ever returned to date, no money has been returned, nothing has been done. We have had to continue paying yearly fees.

Desired Outcome

To do what they said they would do and get rid of our time share.

I hired this company to 03/11/2016 to dissolve my timeshare, but I'm still receiving bills.
I hired this company on 03/11/2016. I paid $*** to them to dissolve my timeshare and maintenance fees. I am still being charged by Williamsburg Plantation for Maintenance Fees. Three of which went into collections. On 08/11/2016 we received a return email from the company stating that you forwarded certified mail to the resort letting them know that you're representing us. The Timeshare company (Williamsburg Plantation) received no such mail and we were still charged $***. We also received the email on 04/24/2017 letting us know of the loss of client files that your company had so we replied to your email as directed. On 09/18/2018 I sent another email to you stating that we were charged again for another annual fee of $667.00 and I have not received an adequate response by email or phone from anyone. At this point I would like a full refund of the $*** that we paid to your company to make us whole.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a full refund of $*** that we paid to the company. I am Active Duty Military and this is hurting my security clearance. This is totally unacceptable and I feel like I've been scammed. I would like to resolve this matter immediately.

Just found out Immediate Acquisitions is a scam. Notified by a collection agent that we were delinquent in payments to Blue beards.
As stated above we were notified by Blue Beards Castle to call a number after we notified them that we no longer owned this time share. The phone number was a collection agent ( pinnacle collection agent) They stated after many calls to Immediate acquisitions with not answer they went after us. Immediate Acquisitions were to pay all outstanding bills and taxes. We never were notified that none of these were paid. Ow we have to come up with *** immediately. We never have had been late on any bills now our credit is affected . The company SPM who we asked for hardship ownership to return to them is now another company. So until we pay off debt all before new year we are unable to negotiate this. We have owned this time share since 1990 and only have been there 3 times and never have received any rent when not there even when we signed papers. We live pay check to paycheck ( retirement) . We feel so incompetent we should of known this was to good to be true. all we want is to have BlueBeards castle in St *** under Capitol Vacations to accept out plea to take back timeshare no money involved . They have made thousands from us . Thank you *** and *** I am having trouble downloading our documents but will if requested

Desired Outcome

Would like our credit restored as well as BlueBeards Board to grant us a hardship and take our timeshare back. We no longer even have title.

Paid the company to transfer timeshare ownership and they never delivered on the contract.
I contracted and paid Immediate Acquisitions in November of 2016 to transfer ownership of a timeshare at Star Island in Kissimmee Florida.

As of October 2019, this still has not been taken care of and repeated attempts to contact the company via e-mail has been ignored for over a year.

Early on in 2017, I was given the excuse on two separate occasions that they had suffered a "catastrophic data base failure" and I forwarded all of the original paperwork to the company again. Shortly afterwards, they ceased answering any questions or e-mails.

Desired Outcome

refund of the amount paid for services never performed

Signed contract and paid them over $*** in 2016 for them to take ownership of my Timeshare. It was to take about 90 days. They have not done so.
In 2016 I attended a presentation in Oklahoma City where representatives of Immediate Acquisitions presented that they would take over ownership of my timeshare. I signed the required contract and paid them over $***. They advised it would take about 90 days and I should not pay any maintenance fees as they would handle everything. I followed up with them several times and was promised things were progressing. Now they will no loner return phone calls or respond to emails. I am being dunned by a collection agency due to the unpaid fees.

Desired Outcome

Take over ownership and pay outstanding fees as contractually promised.

Immediate Acquisitions was unable to transfer the Mayan Palace Timeshare because it was in another country.
RE: ***

My name is ***. We discussed, mailed and emailed timeshare transfer information of which were legal documents several months ago and at various times throughout the year.

We were told that many parts of "Immediate Acquisition's" files had been damaged, lost or stolen.
Therefore, you asked if we would forward the necessary legal paperwork to you. This would enable "Immediate Acquisitions" to reimburse the payment we provided to you In good faith. The total was $***.

Immediate Acquisitions was unable to transfer the Mayan Palace Timeshare because it was in another country. However, we were told at the presentation that Immediate Acquisitions had transferred many of these timeshares at this location.

Also, you were unable to transfer timeshares at "Barefoot n the Keys and our Westgate Timeshare.
Both had been seized because we were told by you that the transfer was almost complete. You and/or I neglected to pay the annual fees. Therefore, the timeshares have been resold. We also lost RCI points that we had accumulated because they had cancelled our account without notification.

Henceforth, we continue to give "Immediate Acquisitions" time to review the paperwork that was transferred several times. However, we have not heard from "Immediate Acquisitions", owners and/or managers of your company as of this date.

Desired Outcome

Return of amount paid $*** for transfer of timeshares.

Paid Immediate Acquisitions $*** to transfer 3 timeshares out of our ownership. Signed papers in 8/2016 and now 8/2018 the company will not answer.
3 timeshares - one El Cid in Mazatland, one in Puerto Vallarta Paradise Villege and one in Orlando Westgate Towers.
All payments were current when we signed up in 2016.
Now the resorts are asking for maintenance fees and late charges.
For 2 years we have been faithful in providing information to IA and have been in contact with them following all requests.
Recently 1/2018 they requested we wait until August due to their limited manpower.

Desired Outcome

Either complete the transfer of timeshares or refund the $*** payment!

Please review the following email that was sent to this client. Defile loss and obstruction that our company a separate of the past two years has been devastating. If the glass for the information we asked that he please email the customer service email address. We are no longer staffed for phone support

---
Mr ***,

We expected to win the pending litigation to resolve the file loss and restore our capacity to finalize transactions. On August 1, 2018 we learned that we did not win the litigation and are forced to appeal. This process has been lengthy and while this has been out of our control, and the company has been devastated, we understand the impact this situation has had on you and a handful of other clients that were in process when the obstruction occurred.

The obstruction and litigation has cost the owner everything. His family is on food stamps trying to do the right thing for the existing clients who were obstructed.

The only task is outstanding is the payment resort transfer fees. If you wish to pay these fees and keep your payment receipts the owner will do the right thing by you and arrange payments to reimburse you over time.

We are very sorry that it is come to this. We very much wanted to offer you a much higher level of service. While most companies would simply close down in similar circumstances, the owner of the company has made a commitment to ensure that every last customer is assisted, including you.

Thank you for your understanding. We know these obstructions to our client agreements have been very difficult for you, our valued customer.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This response is typical of Immediate Acquisitions. They always have a reason for the delay. They apparently have lost the trial and plan to appeal and they have not yet been sentenced. It is hard to believe the owner is now on food stamps and 11 years of defrauding customers. In their response they are asking me to pay the resort transfer fee and the resorts indicate they need to accept and qualify the proposed new owner of the timeshare. IA also promised to pay any late maintenance fee charges.
Boulder County CO has a lawsuit against IA and the Assistant District Attorney is leading the investigation. First you have to make a claim with the sheriff and then the District Attorney gets involved.
I plan to send by email some articles on IA from Google searches. There is a lot of damaging information. I appreciate Revdex.com following this request.
Thank you,

Mr.,

We have attempted to work with you in good faith. Please review our previous response. The litigation you referred to destroyed our business and our ability to assist the remaining outstanding transactions. There is nothing further we can do but offer assistance and instruction if you are still willing to work with us.

Hi Revdex.com,

See email below just sent to Immediate Acquisitions.

I certainly am not satisfied with Immediate Acquisitions two responses as they have not accomplished what I paid for and what they continue to promise. I would hope that the Revdex.com would stay with this complaint until resolved with the transfer of the timeshares or a full refund. The information from Boulder County is very disturbing.

Thank you for your help.

I paid $*** for timeshare transfer services that has not been fulfilled and contacts to the company requesting responses are not returned.
I contracted with Immediate Acquisitions Inc. in April 2016 to transfer my timeshares. To date, they have not fulfilled their services nor do they return calls or emails other than pre-recorded responses. There is no other way to contact them besides leaving voice messages, in which the recording says they will contact you within 3-5 days (which they don't) and sending emails, which is never responded to. I paid $*** for them to transfer my timeshares out of my name and received nothing from them.

Desired Outcome

I want them to deliver the services I paid for (transfer timeshares) and/or refund my money if they won't fulfill the services.

Immediate Acquisitions Response • Jul 17, 2018

In July of 2016 our office suffered a catastrophic loss of files and data that severely disrupted our file processing and customer service. In January of 2017 our company stopped accepting new Timeshares for transfer in an effort to work with clients who had transfers that were outstanding. We have worked diligently to recover the files and assist clients who were impacted by this file loss and ongoing obstruction and will continue to do so. We ask that this client contact our customer service department the first week of August so we may assist with this inquiry. We are extremely short staffed and will be unable to assist before that time. In the next two weeks we ask the client to please gather documents and materials that were originally provided for signature so the process may run smoothly when we address the client's concerns. We apologize for this considerable inconvenience and look forward to working with the client proactively to resolve this matter to their full satisfaction.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I will contact the business the first week of August as directed but am not optimistic they will answer nor return my call if I leave a message. That has been their method of operation over the last two years. I'll return to this sight and update my response to "accept" if they in fact answer and offer an acceptable resolution.

This is a fraud business my mother and I were taken my them back in Dec 2016. Never did get our refund that they said they sent to our credit card on June 2017. Still to this day I am trying to collect the refund of $2,295.00.

Immediate Acquisitions took our money, strung us along for 11 months, and then said they had cancelled our contract and refunded our money 5 months prior. Of course there is no record of a refund. They did nothing for us. Our Maintenance Fees keep coming along with Late Fees. A real rip-off.

Immediate Acquisitions Response • Feb 12, 2018

Mr. was advised of the catastrophic loss of files and ongoing obstruction that occurred in 2016 and 2017. We also provided a screenshot showing that his full refund was processed with instructions on how to retrieve the refund from his bank if it was not showing on his end. We previously were using a merchant processing company that we no longer use and had issues with refunds through that provider. We encourage this client to review our previous email with instructions and follow those instructions to ensure the refund is received. We apologized to this client for any inconvenience and wish them the best as work was completed on their file prior to the refund to being processed and the contract being canceled by us.

Additionally, this client mentions late fees. The contract that was signed by the client mandates that the client maintain all fees current through the process of the transaction. Late fees have never been the responsibility of the company. If the client has for the questions they review their contract or contact our office through the normal customer service channels and we will be happy to further assist them with their inquiry.

1. We received an email on Oct. 31, 2017 about a loss of files in 2016. There is no mention of any occurrence during 2017. We went to the presentation and signed the contract Jan. 18, 2017 which is after 2016.
2. We sent all correspondence from the resort to Immediate Acquisitions as instructed in the original contract's documentation, several emails, and many phone calls. No mention of any other instructions or responsibilities on our part.
3. Their email of Nov. 8, 2017 stated they had cancelled our contract on Jun. 6, 2017 and processed a full refund to our VISA card. No mention of a bank or a screenshot was in the email. VISA has no record of a refund and has started its own investigation after our complaint.
4. As far as we can tell, no work was ever done by Immediate Acquisitions.
5. Their email confirming our appointment for the presentation on Jan. 18, 2017 says "this is the last opportunity to avoid paying your 2017 Maintenance Fee" and "avoid all future assessments from the resort". The 2017 Maintenance Fee was not due until Mar., 2017. We were TOLD not to pay it. Because Immediate Acquisitions performed no work, we have been assessed Late Fees.
6. We contacted the company at @timesharestatus.com as instructed many times. We called Customer Service at XXX-XXX-XXXX many times. Each time we were told all was being taken care of and it just took time. It was not until the Nov. 8, 2017 email that we heard they were no longer working for us and had not told us.

Copies of emails, sales literature and instructions can be provided.

Immediate Acquisitions Response • Feb 21, 2018

Again, this former client was refunded in full 8 months prior to this review. The client should not reasonably expect work to be completed on their file after a refund has been processed. The refund was processed a few short months after doing business with Mr ***

Our company stopped accepting new units in January of 2017 and we are no longer in business other than to provide assistance to paying clients whom have not received a refund and have an outstanding transfer. Mr *** is encouraged to follow our detailed instructions we provided to him as a courtesy 5 months ago to finalize the transaction on his own. Most companies in our situation having lost our files and data would provide much less assistance than we have. We wish Mr. the best of luck. There is no further assistance we are able to provide. He has long since been refunded in full.

Customer Response • Feb 23, 2018

As stated, we signed our contract Dec. 4, 2016 at their presentation. We continued to receive emails and had phone conversations with the company until Nov. 8, 2017 when we were told our contract had been cancelled - a full 12 months after the contract had been processed. WE DID NOT RECEIVE A NOTICE OF CANCELLATION UNTIL NOV. 8, 2017. WE HAVE NOT EVER RECEIVED A REFUND FROM THE COMPANY. If the company has "lost" all their records, how do they know so well that they did give us a refund or when they made the refund? VISA says we never received a refund. Our inquiry to VISA about a refund being posted started an investigation by VISA of the company. Our reputation has been soiled and we are now in trouble with Orange Lake Resort. We were taken.
