I requested a refund of $250.00. The refund was agreed to. Cynthia McQuowen agreed to refund $250.00 for a VISA adjustment after I married my fiance, Margie Cornel, so she could leave the United States if she wanted to. Ms. Cornel never entered the United States and we never married. We broke up 9 months ago, so this part of the VISA service was not needed. I did not request for a full refund on the VISA process, just the adjustment part were she could leave the Untied States. I was told by Ms. McQuowen it would take a month to send the refund. In that 30 days, I have tried twice to email Ms. Cynthia McQuowen my address so she could mail me a check for the amount of $250.00. Both emails have come back undeliverable. Now my phone calls are not being returned. Desired SettlementJust the refund of $250.00 sent to me. I also request to not wait another 30 days for this to be resolved.Business Response Dear [redacted], As per our telephone conversation this evening I have issued the refund and am sending per your request a copy of the complaint. I didn't receive any emails and didn't know there was a problem until today when I received a call from [redacted] from the Revdex.com she emailed me the complaint after I gave her the correct email as [redacted] has not been deliverable. I want to tell you how sorry I am you had to wait for your refund. As a rule we don't issue refunds when someone has a break up in their relationship. We did what we were paid for; we did the fiancee [redacted] petition & filed with the Department of Homeland Security, when you pay for the adjustment of status we complete as much as possible, store it in a file on our desk top once your fiancee is here in the U.S. and the two of you are married all we need is the marriage certificate we type in the marriage date and your adjustment of status package is ready to go. We don't offer refunds as a rule but you were a very nice man to work with, I felt bad that your relationship didn't work out and made an exception. I asked you to email me a request for the refund and I would take care of it, I remember it well but never received an email from you and forgot about it. This isn't an excuse it's the truth.
