Immix Wireless Reviews (7)

This companys customer service sucks. You call the cutomer service number and you are out on hold for half an hour at a time. Then it sends you to call forwarding. I have had problems for a month now and I get the same thing every time aI call. Now I have decided to change carriers and transfer my number. Immix has not contacted my new carrier on their request for the number. Again I would not advise any one to use this company.

Review: Problem with phone service so I switched, couldn't port over numbers, had to get new, now cannot get ahold of anyone to cancel policy. FOR WEEKS.....VERY UPSET!!!!Desired Settlement: I expect a refund for the weeks of no service and to cancel my account right away!

Review: I lost cell service, switched carriers, no one will answer phone calls or emails to revise my bill and they continue to send me bills for service.

After being an Immix Customer for 12 or more years on June 17, 2014 I lost cell service. After numerous calls to the company I did talk to 2 people that told me I could switch carriers without a penalty. On June 20, 2014 I switched to [redacted] so as of that date I was no longer attempting to use Immix service. On June 27, 2014 I had to switch yet again because of spotty service (not part of this complaint) to [redacted]. I continue to receive texts and bills from Immix as if I am still a customer. I was told that once your number is ported to a new carrier you are no longer a customer. I have repeatedly called Immix wireless customer service but they do not answer the phone and it disconnects after 30 minutes. This happened to me on 5 occasions. June 17, 19, 20 and 30, 2014. And again on July 14, 2014 after receiving a bill for service from 7/8 to 8/7/14 which I am not using. I had sent an email on 6/17/14 stating I wouldn't be paying my current bill until someone contacted me with revision amounts because I lost service on 6/17/14, the current bill was for service from 6/8/14 to 7/7/14. I agree I do owe them money for service from 6/8/14 to 6/17/14. All I want is for some way to talk to someone about this matter.Desired Settlement: All I am asking is for some response from the company to revise my bill. I will continue to try to contact them for a revised bill. I don't want this to ruin my credit rating because I am not paying a bill that I don't feel I owe.

Review: Due to Immix Wireless contracting with [redacted] our [redacted] phone is no longer working. Customer Service was unreachable and local store was no help.

Immix wireless plan (Account# [redacted]) was purchased March 3/24/14 at [redacted] location. 2 Phones were purchased a [redacted] wx345 and a [redacted] d mode cm 1000. Both have worked well until roughly 2-3 weeks ago (April 2013). Cell phone still works as normal. However [redacted] home phone has progressively gotten worse. It does not ring, does not call out, does not show messages, does not show missed calls. After checking everything with the instruction manual we attempted to make several calls to customer service. Calls were made 4/27/13 in which we were unable to continue the call due to the waxess phone itself and 2 more on 4/29/13 that no one ever answered the phone at customer service. 4/29/13 called mall sales store in which we purchased the phone and was told we needed a new SIM card due to Immix contracting with [redacted]. Took entire [redacted] phone to the store that evening. Salesman removed SIM card and replaced, then stated this would not guarantee the phone would work properly. In removing the SIM card all our contacts were erased and salesman couldnt fix it nor did he apologize for the error. We questioned why and were told the contract never guarantees service. However we had service for an entire year before Immix decided to contract with [redacted] Salesman told us contracting with [redacted] was better because they were more expensive and a better company. We told him it didnt matter how expensive [redacted] was if our phone didnt work. We asked why we would be made to stay in the contract if there was no longer service due to the company's fault and not our own. We also asked why we were not notified of the change. Salesman said he was currently having problems with his [redacted] contract on his personal phone and that is just how cell phone contracts work and that Immix had sent a mass text about the change. We left the store angry with no answers, only to come home find out that the waxess phone still did not work at all even with new SIM card.Desired Settlement: We feel we should be able to opt out of the contract without paying any penalty fees, if we no longer have service due to Immix's fault of contracting with [redacted]. We did not chose to contract with [redacted], Immix did and if we do not get service from [redacted] it is not our fault! If when we purchased the phone one year ago we had brought it home during the 15 day trial and not had service we would not have kept the phone and opted out of the service!

Review: In July, I went into a local Immix Wireless store with my friend that I was staying with after having to abruptly move home. I explained to them that my previous cell phone service was shut off and I need to have service but that it was most likely a temporary situation. They told me that joining my friend's plan was my best route to take because I would be able to terminate the line at any time at no charge since it was just an added line. Otherwise I would have just signed my own contract. After getting back on my feet, I moved out of their house and in my new house I lost service. I do not get service at work or at home. I then called Immix customer service as well as went down to the store where we purchased the phone. I wanted to terminate the line since I was no longer receiving service where I live and work. They told me it would be $414 to terminate the line, contrary to what they told me when I signed up. I asked them if there was anything that they could do because it is absurd to pay for service that you do not receive. They told me there was nothing that they could do except pay the $414. I then called customer service and they told me that that there is a $375 termination fee and no cell phone service can promise that you'll have service. I went about all of the steps to troubleshoot the phone to get better service both in store and over the phone(as the call got dropped twice). So I am now stuck with a cell phone service that does not provide me with service and the only answer I get is that they cant do anything about it, and no one ever promised me service.Desired Settlement: I believe that they should waive the early termination fee because there is no service being provided. This would allow me to purchase a cell phone plan that will provided service where and when it is needed without having to pay roughly $400.00.

Review: Immix did not provide the service or products to meet my needs including smartphones and 3G service and related apps to serve my needs.

Immix data service was slow. Did not live to expectations that were discussed with sales rep. Did not offer any upgraded smartphones to comply with apps for my business needs at work. I had to switch carriers to buy service and apps. Immix would not waive early termination fee. I do not feel I should have to pay the fee based on the lack of services immix has and they could not fit my needs as a customer. Now they have sent my fee to collections and is effecting my credit.Desired Settlement: Waive early termination fee

Review: Immix stores in the area are closed my phone doesn't work and there aren't any other phones available for this service.

My phone doesn't work correctly. The nearest store is 50 miles away. $200 disconnect fee must be paid upfront in order to cancel contract to move phone number to another provider. We have another line with Immix and disconnect fee isn't able to be billed to the account. Customer service wouldn't allow me to speak to a supervisor to resolve over the phone. It's unreasonable to have to drive 50 miles to see new phones or buy one over the Internet and cancellation fee should be waived for this reason.Desired Settlement: I believe the cancellation fee should be waived because the nearest store is approximately 50 miles away. I would need to drive there or order a phone over the Internet in order to continue my service through this provider. I'm unhappy with my experience with customer service and would like to discontinue doing business with them, meaning I would also like to cancel the account completely.
