Ms. M[redacted] made it sound as if we had to decide ASAP on a conference that was still more than 15 months away. Afterwards, I found out that there were still openings for a conference that was in the near future. Even the "audition" had to be done ASAP according to Pam. My 10yo daughter really wants to be an actress, so I tried to stay positive in front of her, hence my apparent enthusiasm despite my doubts. I regret being stupid enough to sign (ASAP!) an agreement that did not allow a refund or any prolonged consideration. I am ready to part with my $600. She may possibly be within the law, given the language of the contract, but I want to warn others to stay away from this unethical business.
