MR ***, waited for over month before he responded to the estimate provided and order was made weeks before the time he insisted the job be complete, while the delivery for windows will take weeks for deliver, leaving me only day to install the windowsthis was a big inconvenience
since I was still rounding up another job, and in between that time too much travel time between Brooklyn park and Maple wood where the kob was located, which was not cost effective, all these conditions Mr *** refuses to see and became very difficult to work with. I am unable to complete the work for Mr *** due to his condescending manner and his refusal to understand that I have other obligations and cant put off work to wait weeks before windows can be delivered on the 14th of July since they were special ordered, and no rush order can be made for these windows to be delivered before. see correspondence belowIf the items are delivered on 7/14, are you able to complete the job by 7/because that is when the folks are coming from overseas?!Hello,I called and left a message for you yesterday, but there has not been any reply to my phone call or voice message. The last time we talked, you indicated that you would be at the house to "do some prep" - that was SIX days ago, but as at 8:00pm yesterday (07/11/2016), NO work has been done! Based on email that was sent by the company, "All rush request need to come from the store. I do apologize but we are not able to rush this order. It is loading on 7/12/16 with a tentative delivery date of 7/14/16. This means that with NO rush order, the materials would load on 7/and be delivered on 7/But, you promised to go to the store to place a RUSH ORDER, but it is obvious that you NEVER did!...Menards does not do rush orders on these windows so it was impossible to get it before the 14th, and due to some of these communications and other issues arising I declined to complete the job and offered to refund him the balance for the job I already completed as Mr *** was uncooperative and this was his response... Please, go ahead and refund the money if you are unable to do the work.Thanks.In the same day he threatened to sue me this was on the 15th the day after the windows arrived, The last time I worked for him he was inflexible and refused to pay me in full what I billed him, taking advantage of the situation to defraud me, So due to past experience and current situation as the prices of the windows and materials are higher that we estimated, I declined to complete the job and promised to refund the balance because I knew I would be working at a loss since he refuses to accept adjustments in prices as materials and parts can vary in prices due to condition of work process in the past.I have all email and text communication to better prove my case, that Mr *** has been difficult to work with and very inflexible which is not good for business so he will be refunded the balance of $this is from the $deposit he made
