As for the payment form, it is up to us whichever form we chooseBecause of a bad exprience in
accepting commercial or personal checks from customers, we have chosen a cash form of payment as
the most secured, to keep our busines from any complications to recover itPlus, *** *** Insurance does not own any towing companyThey are using independent contractors to tow vehicles for themWhich means they receive payment directly from them after the job is doneTowing companies
pay the auto body shops for tows with their own money
Our business comply with Ilinos State law 100%

On Feb 14th *** ** was involved in an accidentAfter the collision the vehicle was brought to Impact Body Works by Every Towing & Recovery a towing company that own and operate their own fleet of trucks, Not Impact Body
Works as previously stated by complainantPer Every Towing and Recovery *** ** Stated that the vehicle was not drivable and needed to get the vehicle to a secure location she and a guest accompanied the driver of Every Towing and Recovery to Impact Body WorksUpon arrival, Impact Body Works paid the tow Invoice from the Tow Company in the amount of $which is clearly itemized with a signed authorization to release vehicle to Impact Body Works*** B arrived to Impact Body Works (A Highly reputable and recommended "A" Rated Collision Repair facility) right afterThe customer *** Band the guest began to remove personal items from vehicle and while her husband stayed in the office talking on the phoneAt this time Impact body works explained to *** Bthat the Insurance Company will reimburse Impact Body Works on the tow and no charges are required from them under the assumption that the vehicle will repaired at our facility*** B Said he had a deductible of $and if we could work with him on it at this time he was told that we would not be able to help he was on the phone which appeared to be another Body shop stating that they could save him his deductibleHe now demanded that we release the vehicle to his tow truck without payment on the invoice we just paid forImpact Body works only accepts cash as payment and have every legal right to do soNo one forced *** B to find an ATM if he did not have the cash he could have just as easily found a bankThe tow invoice is clearly itemized and authorized signed by his wife to be released to Impact Body WorksIn Addition, we did tell *** Bto forward his Invoice of $that would be reimbursable through USAA Insurance

Due to the violations of IL towing law that have occured, thiis will be forwarded to the IL Commerce Commission police and the Chicago Business Affairs & Consumer Protection Agency
Further civil action may also be involved

Any complaints or indiscretions between the Tow service (Every Towing & Recovery) and the customer will solely be between the Tow service and customerThere was no service, storage or towing charged by Impact Body Works

It is highly amusing that Impact Body Works attempts to hide behind the corporate veil when they, in fact, accepted the dollars, and clearly own the tow truck(s) operated by the tow company
