Finally came out on Dec 8th did half the job and said they did not have the correct parts to complete the work. All the time they had 50% deposit, my moneyafter not hearing from them in weeks I called the sales person who said they would be out on Jan 10 to finish, They showed, did not have the parts and said the sales guy quit and blamed him for not ordering the right parts. Come to find out the parts were never ordered, they came out only to delay again and cast blame while they held my money. Asked to speak to the owner, they would not give me a name or number ( I later found his name *** Asked for my money back and was given the run around.

Desired Outcome

Impact Glass Services Response • Feb 08, 2019

Dear Ms.:

We apologize for any inconvenience that our service may have caused you.

On December 11, 2018 the technicians went to your site and completed the work except for the installation of one of the parts that would be replaced. (The balances for the windows). As you can see in the attachment #1, you were informed of the missing part and you were satisfied with the work. The receipt was signed by you with a comment stating "Excellent. Thank You."

On January 10, 2019 the technician went to your site again, but unfortunately the balances were not the correct ones for your window. The sales representative offered you to schedule another appointment to complete the job, but you declined the offer. At that moment, we proceed to give you a credit as you can see in the attachment#2. We also did not charge you for the remaining 50% that was due by the end of the work. (see attachment#3). In conclusion, from the original amount of $1282.96, you paid $544.86.

If you have any further question, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I purchased commercial glass doors. They are defective and a safety hazard. The company won't resolve the issue. I have called numerous times.
Impact Glass Services, LLC installed 2 commercial glass doors for my office space in August 2017. The invoice number is XXXXXX. I paid $2664.84. The doors do not open and close properly. There is something wrong with the hardware used. I have called the owner Mr. Saieh numerous times with no response on his part. I have called his office numerous times with no resolution either. Only once did someone bother to come to the office and they mentioned that the door hardware seemed defective and would be covered under warranty. They said they would let the office know and have the repair arranged. No one ever called us back again. I tried to call the office numerous times and they just say they will call us back. No resolution as of yet. It has been almost a year with no resolution of this. This is a serious safety hazard. I spent a lot of money on these glass doors without any resolution. I would like them to fix this immediately.

Desired Outcome

I would like the company to either repair the defective hardware or reimburse me for the money I paid so that I may get the repair done by another reputable company.

A custom impact glass door was installed in the apartment balcony last year. Initially it worked fine,then we began having problems closing it.
Purchase: 04/04/2017
Problem Started: 06/16/2017
Sales Rep:***

They have come out twice to try to fix the door, which can now only open on one side.
They keep responding to my emails saying that they will keep in touch or send someone soon. They don't. Now they said they would contact the manufacturer. They haven't.

Desired Outcome

We just want the door to work properly! It currently only opens on one side. This was a very expensive custom made impact door leading to our balcony.

This company promised delivery and installation of impact windows to happen seven months ago. Still not date for this to occur.
On April 20th, 2017, I signed a contract Impact Glass Services, LLC ("Impact Glass" or "Company") to purchase two windows and have them installed in my apartment. The contract requires, amongst other things, that the installation be completed between six to eight weeks after the measurements were made. The measurements occurred on April 26th, 2017. Therefore, the express terms of the contract with Impact Glass required the installation prior to the end of June 2017.

This Company promised in writing that the delivery and installation of the windows would be carried out the following dates:
1) Week of July 5th, 2017;
2) Week of August 21st, 2017;
3) Week of September 19th, 2017; rescheduled for September 27, 2017, because of Hurricane Irma;
4) Week of October 16th, 2017; and
5) Week of November 13th, 2017.

Despite the Company's failure to install the windows as required under the Contract, in the spirit of cooperation, on the above five occasions, I stayed home and waited for the delivery and installationhaving lost wages and/or unnecessarily expended paid time off as a result. However, this Company failed to deliver and install the windows on each of those occasions.

I have not received communications from this Company on exact new delivery and installation dates since the last unfulfilled delivery date of November 13th, 2017.

Under the circumstances, including but not limited to Impact Glass' failure to comply with the Contract and repeated failure to abide by its own commitments as to the timing for installation), I have advised them to terminate the contract and will be disputing the charges of $4,878.50 (initial deposit amount) made to my credit card. I am demanding for return of the deposit.

Desired Outcome

Full refund of the deposit made using my credit card.

breach of contract, undelivered product, not reliable, badly represented
On 4/20/17 signed a contract with Impact Glass Services to purchase impact windows for my home. Per contract Company promised to deliver 6-8 weeks from date of window measurement on 4/25/17. As of today windows have not been delivered nor install. Paid 50% deposit ($10,945.50) with credit card on 5/4/17 - In more than four occasions they gave me false tentative dates for installation and they failed to comply with all of them. Furthermore loosing time and wages from my job in order to take time off to be home for their workers. This company does not care about their customers, does not comply with contracts and does not deliver the product on time

Desired Outcome

I am not comfortable doing business with this company, due to the time spent inquiring about my windows, the lack of response most of the times, poor customer service and the delay and failing to deliver, I want my deposit back!

We ordered a replacement impact glass in April. It came back the wrong size. Second time the wrong tint. Still not corrected.
Original order was April 2017. We are now on the third round without completion. At this point, we can't get in touch with the company.

Desired Outcome

We would like the window that we originally ordered - correct size, correct tint. At this point, we feel we should also receive a significant discount, requesting the final 50% be waived (we paid 50% up front).

Please read summary-Broken Item, Failure to make customer whole.
Horrible costumer service. I purchased a sliding glass door handle from them. I had to call a week after I order it because they forgot to ship it. I then was told that I didn't need to have them come install the handle because it was a simple process with just two screws...not knowing if they dont install the handle, it voids the warranty on the item. Two days after I install the handle, it broke. They refused to make me whole. The handle was $102.45....I went back and forth on the phone trying to get my issue solved....they failed a bunch of times to call me back when told they would do so.

Desired Outcome

I dont want to pay $102.45 for a item that broke in 2 days.

Impact Glass Services Response

We are very sorry for all the inconvenience. We always offer to our customers when we sell the handles two options, one is with installation and the other one only the handle with delivery and the customer decided to buy it without installation.

When we install the handle this product will have a warranty of 6 months but if we do not install it the customer is responsible for the product and the product does not have any warranty, this is because we can't control how the customer install the handle or the conditions in which the door is, mostly all the time the handle brake because the door is not well lubricated or the rollers are damaged and people use excessive force to try to open the door or because the handle was not well installed.

If the handle have any missing parts or is damaged when it arrives to our customer home we will replace the part but unfortunately this was not this case and the handle get damaged after the installation process made by the customer.

This is why the handle he bought did not have warranty.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was specifically told that I dont need anyone to install it. That it was just two screws. I was never told anything about a warranty being void if I didn't get Impact Glass Services to install it. The metal cast molding broke where the screw holds the two pieces together. There is something wrong with the product. Impact Glass Services robbed me of $102.45. I dont want a replacement part, just my money back. I rather take my business to another company that respects their customers.

The company began the installation of my windows and have refused to complete the project. They began in May and I'm still waiting in Aug. No help!
I ordered windows in Dec. I had to wait until May for them to receive the windows. They first messed up the order. Then all the windows did not arrive. Then they schedule the job to be done in 3 days. It actually took a week. They then neglected to schedule the city inspection. They finally scheduled the inspection, the inspector left a certificate, however the company has refused to finish the windows. They say that the trims and completion of the windows can't happen until we pass *** This was back in June. I have been passed *** to different people each time I call. I have been told over and over that the city wanted more technical information. I've been told that the information has been turned in and approved however they refuse to complete the work. Whenever I contact them, they start the entire story over again saying that the city needs more information and that they are giving it to them. It is now August. My windows are incomplete. The parts have sat out in the rain for 2 months. This company never follows up with me...I always have to contact them and then they only blow me off. I need help to get this job complete or my money back.

Desired Outcome

I only want the job to be completed and completed with quality. I do not want the job finished with the parts that have been left outside in the elements for 2 months. I want the job to be complete. I have been blown off by this company for 8 months now. At this point, my house is unmarketable. I cannot put it on the market. I cannot host guests. I am pretty certain that the company has received payment. I want the media to be notified so that they do not do this to other people.

Impact Glass Services Response

We have been working in Ms. project for several months, it is true we had a delayed with the order as the manufacturer take more time than we expected to delivered the windows to us, only one of them where bigger so we need to modify the installation what takes as a few more days for the process of installation. We have been working with the city as on the first inspection the inspector left some instructions to be change and have been back and forward with the city trying to get the project done and complete inspections, all the windows are installed but we haven't passed inspection yet from the city, the only part that is missing to install are the covers because they might be installed after the inspection. unfortunately this project has taken more time than what our customer and we expected and we understand Ms. concern but we haven't refuse to finish the job, we will finish it when we get the approval from the city, we had found some different inconvenience in the process but we definitely will finish the job, we are very sorry for the delay and we are have been working to get everything done as soon as possible.
