***'s movers damaged my furniture during a move in April He has agreed to a settlement of $250, but has not honored the terms of the agreement
Our move was on April 26, His crew damaged many pieces of furniture The damage was immediately visible and *** *** (owner) was alerted on April 26, to the damage He assured me he would repair the furniture I texted, emailed, and called him dozens of time Many excuses for when he did respond to the contact I received an independent quote for the amount of $for which we agreed to a settlement of $on January 10, for which he detailed and agreed to pay within days of the agreement I have followed up multiple times for which he has responded once and said he would pay a portion in February, March, and April Still nothing and no responses
Rick and Ben were outstandingThey arrived on time and started loading right awayWe used them for an additional hour and they no stopped workedThey were very polite and took great care of our itemsWe moved from the third floor and they were flying up and down the stairs with easyI highly recommend this companyFive stars across the board!!!!
On 4/these movers were incapable of handling a large move or pack a 26ft truck to maximize the allocated spaceThe movers were unprofessional with their language and explicit music during the moveThey stood around for long periods talking to each other & on the phone even bringing others to the unload to hang outThey stayed in front of my home discussing the move until I asked them to leaveOne mover became confrontational/hostile when asked to move items and not stand aroundHe also broke a frame/matted picture, a marble waterfall clock and dropped a tv/stereoI called the owner repeatedly & to replace himThey showed up 3hrs late to unload w/out notifying meThe owner offered to replace my items but has yet to respond to my texts/photos of the broken itemsI would NOT recommend them to move ANYTHING and they shed a bad light on the Moving Helpers reputation!

Furniture was damaged by moving company hired to help load moving truckWill not contact us back about the situation
On August 1, we hired impact movers to help us load our moving truckThe movers arrived on timeDuring the loading proccess they proceeded to damage several pieces of furniture including our washing machine, which has a big hole in the front making it unusable, a hole in our couch costing a couple thousand dollars to replace the fabric, a brand new crib that had several scratches in it along with two dressers, a bed head board and a desk that also have scratches in itThey were given a dozen furiniture pads and a utilities dolly to use and failed to do soThey used one furiniture pad and that was to cover up the damage to the washing machine in hopes we would not noticeThey seemed in a hurry to get the job done and to just collect their money
