My bank account was billed $230.00 without my verbal or written authorization. In the past I have always called Impact Pest Elimination or paid online
Statement date 6/19/19 was for termite colony elimination system for $160. On 7/12/19 Impact pest control left their card that pest treatment had been completed. I never received a bill for this service. On 7/18/19 my *** checking account was charged $230.00 without my verbal/written authorization to do so. I received no phone call or email to notify me that a payment was required henceforth. The only email I received was from 7/15/19 asking for a recommendation for Impact pest elimination. I called Impact on 7/19/19 @ 8:09am and spoke with Michelle. She stated she would have the manager call me back since they were in a morning meeting. I called again @ 9:44am and was told by Michelle that she would send a message to the owner Gary to call me. I have yet to receive a return call/email. I have been a client of this company for 13 years. This has never happened to me with any company and never should have now.
Verbalization they will never withdraw moneys from my account without my express authorization. If they are unable to abide by this then our business after 13 years will go elsewhere.
I received the call this morning while I was in a meeting and then left office to run an errand. I should have called earlier. I did call at 9:57 and was unable to leave a message,( the message asked for a acess code ) based on the message received I felt the homeowner worked nights and did not want to be bothered so I decided to email and call later in the afternoon.
I received a notice from the Revdex.com around 3-330 and called the homeowner, again unable to leave a messgae. I called back using the area code and spoke with mr *** who said his wife was sleeping.
we discuused the situation, the office person charged the balance on the credit card since the cc number was on file, not realizing the client wanted to authorize payment first.
I had already set up the account to not be charged unless the client explicitly authorized the action.
I offered the client a free pest control and termite service on the next regular schedulded appts. The husband said he would discuss it with his wife and call back.
he called back later and said that the offer was acceptable.
We both consider the matter closed

I am in agreement with Gary, President of Impact Pest Elimination that the complaint has been resolved. I am hopeful that we can move past this misunderstanding and can continue a long standing business relationship. Thank you for your prompt response to my concerns & the mediation results.
Invoicing us when we aren't a customer
In 2018 and in 2019, Impact Pest Elimination has invoiced us for services without being a customer of theirs and before services are rendered. I received an invoice in the mail and paid it promptly without realizing that we use a different company for pest control. They are invoicing us for services not rendered and ahead of being a customer. When we called in 2018, they gave us a refund but then repeated the practice in 2019. Once again we have received a refund. A neighbor also indicated that they've billed them in the same way.
Impact needs to stop this billing practice as it is deceitful and is confusing. We have received refunds but it could be impacting others who aren't aware of this practice.

In response to the above complaint, the practice is not intended to be deceitful or misleading.
During construction we preformed a termite treatment for the builder. At the end of the year warranty a letter was sent to the home owner letting them know they had the option of continuing the coverage for termite protection. The opted for the coverage and remitted payment, upon trying to schedule the annual inspection they said they did not want the service and wanted a refund, which we promptly provided.
Our mistake at that time was not cancelling the service so another letter would not be generated in 2019.
As such, a letter was generated and the client paid the renewal again. During the attempt to schedule the inspection, they said they had service with someone else and did not want the renewal. I personally spoke with them and cancelled the account myself and set up the refund to them at that time.
Deception has come from the other company by not alerting the homeowner that the house was treated by another company , as indicated by the sticker on the electrical panel ( as required by state law) and placing them under warranty without advising them of possible coverage by Impact.
No one forced the homeowner to send payment, when a call to the office could have cleared up the confusion.
If there are others the lady is aware of, please let me know and I will personally contact them
