Impact Seven, Inc. Reviews (6)

Mr*** states that he was told "months before by the office manager" that he did not need an appointment to an appointment to stop in at the Impact Seven office if in the area It is unclear who he is referencing as Impact Seven did not take over management of Rusk County Housing until August 1, and does not have an employee that serves as an office manager It was never an issue that he did not have appointments when stopping in.Regarding the information that he requested on letterhead, this was completed on August 6, 2015, and provided to him, both via USPS and email A copy of it is attached for your reference I would again like to say that this was provided to Mr*** prior to his initial application having been received The initial application signed by Mr*** on August 11, was received in our office on August 16, Unfortunately, this application was one used by previous management and did not include necessary information and signatures allowing us to process it Therefore, during one of the visits Mr*** made to the Impact Seven office, August 20, 2015, staff assisted him in completing the correct application, including the required release of information (Both applications are attached for your reference.) Staff started the processing of his application (Verifications also attached for your reference.)The "two meetings at the rental properties months before" that Mr*** speaks of were not any that Impact Seven was involved in as informational tenant meetings regarding Impact Seven taking over the management were held on July 28th & 29th As for the additional resources that could possibly assist him, per federal regulations, staff is not able to direct anyone to a specific organization and would have suggest they speak with someone at the County level for this.It was understood that Mr*** is no longer interested in leasing an apartment and has stopped the processing of his application

The response given was misleading, first off response given for showing up at office without appointment is true however I was told from office manager months before that I did not need one should I happen to be in the vicinity which I do on occasionSecond the information I requested was to be a letterhead for financial verification and not the rental approval for which I am STILL waiting for and was told that only took days not months and had I not stopped to inquire about my approval I would not have been able to physically sign a release of information form that I was also not aware of as per the two meetings at the rental properties months beforeI won't touch on the fact that I was offered information concerning access to possible more program assistant from different organizations that I never got from themNo matter how they want to twist the words the fact is they just don't want to admit any wrong in the total lack of regard for communication or professionalism let alone respect for meAt this point I will tell you that I am no longer interested in continuing any type relationship with their terrible organization

I would first like to clarify that Impact Seven, Inc. is not hired by the State; it is a private nonprofit company.  Impact Seven took over management of the Rusk County Housing Authority units and has been working on numerous issues that needed to be dealt with when this happened.  We are...

processing applications, including Mr. [redacted]'s, during this time and are hoping to be able to move new tenants into these properties in the very near future.Mr. [redacted] was provided information that he requested prior to his application even being received in our office.  He has stopped into the Impact Seven office, without having scheduled an appointment, and staff has taken the time to sit and meet with him regarding questions that he has had.  He has also contacted our office and staff does speak with him; he called as recent as within the past two weeks.Again, we are making every effort to process applications as quickly as possible to help those who are in need of affordable housing gain affordable housing.  Our apologies for this taking a bit longer than expected.

The documents provided are correct, it's the explanation of events and timeline are the basis for my original complaint. It now lies at he said she said and unfortunately something I can't prove. The phone calls that were ignored, the promises that were made and the things they said they would do which were not done is my concern and like I said unfortunately my word against there's. Examples are never once did I receive a call back from any impact seven employee at any time, even after my 8 or so inquiries.I was physically at their office once not twice. And the person that I dealt with was their manager for the properties in question and not the county. The bottom line is, that I was told a number of things that they did not deliver. I mean what do I truly have to gain by filing this complaint at all. I didn't think an apology and some respect was out of the question. Please I see that their not willing to accept any responsibility at all and any thing less than that apology will not be accepted so if their not willing I will not accept anything less so instead of wasting anymore of your time I just as soon let this go and thank you for your diligence and professionalism. I know now what impact seven is all about and can promise you they won't be on my Christmas list.

Reading the above review leads me to believe Impact Seven is completely unorganized. I have been waiting since January also. I have called both the property manager and Impact Seven main office several times and can't get an answer. Neither knows what the other is doing. They keep passing me back and forth, and no one has an answer. Finally after 4 months I was told we are on the waiting list, but when an apartment comes available they would have to review our application again. I just don't get it. Horrible management.

Review: Impact seven is a non profit private organization hired by the state to provide low income housing to qualified tenants. I physically filled out all information needed on August 6,2015. I was informed it shouldn't take more than a week to process. It is now October 22,2015. I have contacted them 6 times in the past two weeks. I have spoken to two people in person who told me they've sent the information to the next person, the other 4 times were transferred to the persons voicemail whom said she transferred it to the next person which was yet another voicemail. I have yet to hear from them since. I believe this is to be unacceptable by any means.Desired Settlement: An apology and explanation that is sincere
