to reach this customer by phone on 10/29/14. At this time she made monthly payment arrangements with our medical biller. She complied with her agreement the first month 11/3/14 but missed the next month's payment - she again met her agreement and made her payment for January 1/9/15. After that we did not hear from her for the months of February, March, April, or May. During this time our in-house collection staff processed two payments on 4/16/15 and 6/18/15, which paid off and closed the account. Due to the fact this customer was no longer calling in her payments and to avoid sending the account to collections -Our in house staff thought they had missed processing the credit card for the customer. It was only when the customer finally contacted us on 6/26/15 and stated she was surprised to see the payment clear her account, that we realized that the customer had not approved the payment. Based on our staff's notes the customer was fine with the payments and the fact that the account was closed.
