The smoke/carbon monoxide detectors were not hard wired like they appeared. Will not return calls.In November 2013 work was completed at my home to add a media room. Imperial electric was brought in to add receptacles, lighting and required safety equipment (smoke/carbon monoxide detectors). After a few months my batteries died. It seemed early since they are (supposed to) hard wired. I replaced them none-the-less. A few months later the batteries (2 units) died again. I began calling Imperial Electric every month for a few months now.They will not return my calls.Desired SettlementJust would like them to come back in and fix the issue. Very straight forward request.Business Response Imperial Electric, Inc. has talked to the h/o on 2/10/15 and scheduled an appt. to look at the smoke detectors on 2/12/15. Unfortunately last week was the first message we rec'd about a smoke detector going bad and called the h/o back to schedule an appt. Consumer Response Issue resolved.Final Consumer Response
