October 28,
Dear *** ***,
I was assured that everything including the *** insurance
and their refund policy would be moved to the June dates by *** *** from
Kohala Coast Properties over the phone on January 7,
This question came up when I was talking (phone call) to a
representative of *** *** Protection. I told them about my phone conversation with ***
***After they investigated, the June dates became the *** dates of the
claim
As you can see from this enclosed letter, *** ***
Protection processed my claim using the dates 6/9/to 6/25/
If I can be
of any additional help, please call or email
Thank you,
*** ***

November 1, 2016Dear *** ***,My agreement with Kohala Coast Properties for the rescheduling of our vacation rental was verbal During the January 7, telephone conversation with *** ***, I asked if I needed to sign another contract*** ***e reassured me that everything would transfer over to the new dates and a new contract was not necessary. Through out this process everything Kohala Coast Properties did backed up this agreement *** ***e had the opportunity to stop my refund claim by saying your *** insurance and/or our refund policy did not transfer over to the rescheduled June dates, but she did not Nor did *** *** Protection - we discussed the matter and I referred them to *** ***e*** *** Protection continued with their investigation into my claim for those June datesThey contacted hospitals in states, different doctors and even reviewed records from my extensive hospital stayNot to mention the numerous emails and phone calls. Basically a lot of time and energy could have been avoided if they had said your June *** dates are not covered, we are only looking at the January dates. Please let me know if I can be of any additional help *** ***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I do not accept Kohala Coast Properties
explanation. When I rescheduled
our trip to Hawaii, I was assured
by [redacted] from Kohala Coast Properties that all aspects of our trip
including our [redacted] insurance would transfer over to the June dates.
Now Kohala Coast Properties is holding to the January
booking dates because the refund then becomes the responsible of [redacted] Protection. [redacted] Protection is holding to the
June dates because that makes Kohala Coast Properties responsible for the
refund
In the meantime, my husband and I are caught in the
middle
Nothing about this adds up, first [redacted]e of Kohala Coast Properties did
not send me a copy of the [redacted] insurance document until I requested it when I
wanted to file a claim, then she sent me a contract that only covered $5,
for our $8,condo
rental. While she was trying to
figure out the problem with our [redacted] insurance, my husband and I discussed
the situation for several days and decided to reschedule so we could celebrate
my 60th birthday in Hawaii in June.
Once we started going
through the rescheduling process, [redacted]
did tell me all was well with the [redacted] insurance amount and it would transfer
over to the June datesLater when we had to cancel because of my health
issues, [redacted] said they could not
refund because they had already paid the condo owner at the end of February
But we didn't take our trip in January,
Kohala Coast Properties already
knew and approved the rescheduling of our trip to June, so why did they pay the
owner early?? And why is the pay out of their client my
problem?
Kohala did offer to reschedule our trip again– but I
have some serious health issues (Congestive Heart Failure, Blood Clogs, etc.)
so this is not a viable option. So I
suggested to Kohala Coast Properties that if they could not afford to refund
our money, to rebook for our refundThey
had offered to extent our timeline for rebooking to June Now they are
saying per Ken Hughes letter to Revdex.com "We did try to rebook unit and was not
successful." That makes no senseJune
is not even here yet, so they still have plenty of time to book this
condo. Condo Rentals are their
business – why are they not successful in their booking efforts? What's really
going on here?
Sincerely,
[redacted]
