Reason for rejection from business:
Roof video - It didn't include no mention of missing flashing from roof to siding where major roof leak was found. Video also claimed roof had an additional 10 years life left.
1.1 This is not where roof leak occurred.
1.3 chimeny crowns repaired before settlement.
1.5-1.6 soffits were not clogged, they were never vented from day 1 of construction.
Disclaimer - Why do we hire a professional if there's no guarantee of inspection performed??

We will never agree on what we feel is fair. I can only see what is visible to me on the day of inspection. 
1.I can see where I feel a potential leak had been or potentially where one may occur.
2. And I cannot tell when the soffit vents were shut, I DID say have them opened. I only can see from the opening of the attic.3. As for life expectancy on a roof, a "professional roofer " will never agree on life expectancy. they would rather replace than repair when they see some damaged shingles. That doesn't mean the whole roof is bad.
4. And finally, I have ALL clients sign an inspection agreement, stating this a a visible inspection only, and there are NO guarantees. It is NOT a warranty. And she signed this. I personally go over this with them BEFORE the inspection. 
The cost of this home inspection was $350.00.  120.00 was for radon testing and 80.00 was for the termite inspection. I will not return more than the home inspection fee, if you feel I am in the wrong. Fortunately, I have many happy, satisfied clients, but unfortunately it only takes 1 to make to make your life miserable.
