WHAT A HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!!!!!

I placed an order online for a pump replacement partI paid extra for expedited shipping in order to get it very fast, as my pool was not working conditionReceived an email confirmation that my order was completed, but what I did not see is the message that requires me to re-confirm that I wanted the item, (poorly written email)
DAY
So, it wasn't until a week later when I was wondering where my very expensive order was going to be delivered, that I re-read the email confirmationThe email stated (after thanking me for my completed order) that THIS ITEM WAS NOT IN STOCK OR ON BACKORDERI must send an email in order to authorize shippingThe email further stated that once I authorize shipping, it will take approximately to days before I would receive itSo, I authorized the shipping and asked about my order
[Why wasn't this information provided to me before I placed my order?]
They replied:
"Once you authorize shipping, it will take approximately to days before you receive it
Thank you
PASPDIRECT WAREHOUSE"

After still not receiving my item, I called the provided phone to inquire about my orderJill answered the phone, and told me that I called the RETAIL STORE which was not affiliated the ONLINE STORE, but if I provided my information, she would call the warehouse and find out about my order and call me backWhen she calls back, she informs me that my item is shipping from the MANUFACTURER to their warehouse todayShe assured me that I would get my item within 4-days(***?) First, why is the item just now shipping when I AUTHORIZED the item a week ago? Second, why are you shipping to yourself then shipping to me? A smart company would drop ship to me directly from the manufacturer

I called again, and Jill againI explained to her that I placed my order online and I would like to speak to someone about my orderShe went through her regular spiel about the retail store and warehouse blah blah blahI gave her my info and she said she would call me backWhen she called me back, she explained that my order was IN-TRANSIT to the distributor and that I should get it within two daysThere is no way to track the shipment because it was sent using a "COMMON CARRIER"(***? Didn't order this item with expedited shipping? )
What total incompetence
