My son who is 19 who was buying his first car went to this company to buy a lancer . He asked for a 30 day warranty and was told they don't offer them . But told him he could buy one for 2359. But was told if the finance company ask about it to say he paid for it already . They where going to allow him to do 3 payments to pay for it . He asked for the carfax but they gave him some other papers . On the way home the bumper fell off . The car had no gas and was real dirty . He then gets a email saying they are coming to pick up the car at 2pm because the payments they said he could make they changed there mind . He said fine I parked it at a Denny's parking lot . Then they text him saying no bring it to us we are over a hour away. My son said know you said you where picking it up . They tell my son we are going to send you the bill than . Than try to bring me his mom into it saying it will ruin my credit . I didn't cosign and the financing didn't even go through yet . These ppl are scammers big time . They also said they car had 50,000 miles it ended up having 150,000. These ppl are scammers and they bully ppl. Don't ever buy from them .

Hello, [redacted] purchase a 2010 Subaru from us. The actual contact date is 5/26/2017. He had had to take the purchase contact to his bank to finalize his loan. I would like to address [redacted]’s concerns as I did multiple times with him. The tires were check by a local tires shop, [redacted],...

and they did not see anything from with the tires. However, few days later [redacted] came to the dealer about a low tires, The Tire was check by [redacted] and they had found a nail in it, they patched it up and no cost. [redacted] came about a week later about a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. We gave [redacted] a courtesy loaner car and referred his car to Valley Auto Repair. Valley Auto Repair check the vehicle and replaced a sensor that was bad. Valley Auto Repair did not notice any overheating or leaking radiator whatsoever. After the A/c was charged for [redacted] we did not have contact for about a week. [redacted] calls our office about a week later saying his car broke down on the side of the road. I simply advised him to contact your insurance and see if you have towing coverage. Several hours kater [redacted] then comes to our dealership arguing with my sales manager. I simply asked him to keep it civil. This was on a Saturday and [redacted] was really sad about not having a car to get throught the weekend. I personally offered to drop him off home and he denied. I ended up staying 2 hours after closing and loaned him a vehicle for the weekend and had to be returned by **nday. Valley Auto Repair inspected the vehicle and had found that there was approximately only 1 quart of oil in the engine. Valley Auto Repair also stated that this vehicle could of not run for **re than a few minutes with only 1 quart of oil. There was not leaked on the vehicle and no signs of oil through the exhaust system nor the coolant system. I talked to [redacted] about these concerns and I asked if he had taken the vehicle to any oil change, he stated no. I said maybe someone drained out his oil at his house or his grand**ther’s house, he stated there is no way. I simply stated that it might be a possibility that the oil was drained since there were no signs of leaks or oil in the exhaust nor coolant system. We offered many option to get [redacted]’s car fixed and he refused all of them. We also offered him to contact his insurance company and see if they can cover the damages, he refused. One in Particular that the total to fix his car with Valley Auto Repair is 3,000.00, we offered him 1,500.00 as a courtesy and he can keep the loaner car till the repairs are done. He can cancel his service contact and receive approximately 900.00 and use towards his part of the 1,500.00. And he refused. We contacted [redacted] over 10-15 times to return the loaner car as it is a week over due. We tried to contacted [redacted] 4-5 times a day. We finally get a call back from [redacted], we stated that we need to at least see that our loaner car, and that he has to return by the next day or we would not have any other choice but to repossess our own vehicle, [redacted] said” I will not return the loaner car till I get my money back”, then he hangs up the phone. After the car was repossessed, [redacted] comes storming in our office and getting to my sales team face screaming to give his money back. I had just pulled in to the dealership. I talked to him respectfully saying that we cannot simply give your money back. I told him that we contacted you countless times to bring our loaner car back and you refused. I told him I can still pay 1,500.00 towards his repairs. He said in exact words,” YOU GUYES MADE AN ENEMEY AND WILL BE HEARING FROM ME AGAIN”. My sales team was frightened so we had to call the local Sherriff’s department to file a report. We sent out a bill for [redacted] for the repossession fees and for the key. We are more than ethical as he drove his car over a curb and broke his bumper off and the light was hanging. He came in and we had the bumper repaired for him at no cost. We are still willing to offer help to get his car fixed as we are ethical and we do appreciate our customers. I understand that [redacted] is going to a through and emotional time with his car breaking down, but we cannot take responsibility for this damage, but we can definable coopaerate and help.   Respectfully, ** & Import motors Sales team.

Review: I purchased the car told it was good but the car started smoking excessively.I was told it had just gotten an oil change so I though it was just oil burning and it would go away but I just smoked and smoked bad.I returned the car to the dealership. I told them that the oxygen sensors where bad and need to be changed and it was also lean on bank but they haven't fixed it and they've already had it for 2 weeks. The payment already due and insurance and I haven't even drove the car so I just want my money back .Desired Settlement: I just want my money to be refunded in cash because that how I payed them.

Review: Purchased a 2005 Toyota Prius for around $11K last year and it has been giving us expensive and dangerous problems since the purchase. Dealer advertised the vehicle had a clean title with no accidents. Sam showed me proof of the report that read the vehicle was legitimate with no prior accidents. Over the past year since the purchase with so many problems the car was giving us we brought the car to Toyota San Diego dealer the other day and they said there are over $2000 worth of repairs (keep in mind we already spent thousands for the previous problems since the purchase) that need to be done and that would not guarantee to fix the overheating problem. I wanted to give up on the car and possibly purchase a newer vehicle so I asked the dealer to give us the trade-in value. They called us back and said the Carfax report came back that the vehicle was completely totalled and salvaged months before I purchased it. They were surprised I didn't know this because the DMV pink slip should have read that it was a salvaged vehicle. This was shocking because the certificate of title did not read that it was a salvaged vehicle. Before the purchase, Import Motors left out the pages of the Carfax report that show that it was previously salvaged giving the impression that it was a good car. We drove small children in this vehicle! If you look on the Yelp reviews of Import Motors there are numerous complaints of the same unethical sales practices they have done to other customers.Desired Settlement: I do not want others to be scammed by these people. They have been getting away with it with other customers. It is surprising that no one else has filed a complaint with the Revdex.com yet. If they can replace the car with what they should have advertised to us in the first place (clean title Prius, no prior accidents) that would be acceptable. A legitimate Carfax report with all the pages in it

Business

Response:

We Sold the 2005 Toyota prius vin ending with [redacted] on May 2012. Prior to completing the transaction with Mr. [redacted], we provided him with autocheck history report and explained the history of the car. As you can see on attached buyers guide we also informed Mr. [redacted] that the car had paint, had bodywork and had been reconditioned prior. Mr. [redacted] hand wrote on the buyers guide the following quote " I allan gilongos purchased the above vehicle as is no warrany. The dealer explained the history of the car and I understand the car had paint and bodywork and had been reconditioned by the dealer". So as you see, we have explained everything very clearly to the customer. Please let us know if you have any other questions. also attached are the buyers guide and contract cancellation.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

Review: I called on 6-6-2014 regarding 2007 Subaru Forester VIN [redacted].

"[redacted]" told me the car has a clean title and that I can get an extended warranty through AUL.

I asked for a carfax report. He told me his manager would get me one with 24 hours.

I never got the carfax report. I did my own VIN research on the car and found that this car was

declared a total loss in Colorado and had a salvage title in that state.

When I called "[redacted]" back and asked if he was certain the title was clean he said yes the title was clean.

I emailed AUL ([redacted]) to ask if they covered cars that had salvage on their title in another

state but not in California. [redacted]) told me that AUL Corp does not offer contracts on cars with salvage titles, regardless of where they are from.

Their ad states:

5 YEARS 100,000 MILES WARRANTY!

AUL Corporation [redacted] Napa CA 94559-2622Desired Settlement: A yelp search shows that these guys are constantly doing this sort of thing.

They can get away with it because a car with marks on title from another state will not

have those marks transferred to CA when the car is imported.

They are passing salvage vehicles off as good and for blue book value.

I'm one of the few that have caught on. Luckily I didn't buy car from them.
