miscommunications within the appointment have led to [redacted] being left so upset; we are attempting to resolve this situation with grace and understanding as soon as possible. Since receiving the above stated notification yesterday, we have made attempts to reach [redacted] by phone so that Dr B[redacted] may have the opportunity himself to resolve the patients concern; hopefully better able to educate the patient on the severe destruction that can be caused by her noted Dry Mouth condition. We believe that with proper understanding, Dr B[redacted] and [redacted] can most easily come to a resolution regarding her concerns and a plan on how to proceed from here to get her mouth as healthy as possible. We have our patients’ best interest at heart and would like to see a resolution that both our office and [redacted] is comfortable with.  Unfortunately, we have not had success in reaching the patient. We would like to take the opportunity to discuss the concerns addressed in the complaint issued to the Revdex.com.  [redacted] indicated in her letter that she suffers from a condition called Dry Mouth and has been recommended to use a rinse twice per day; however, our notes from her appointment show that she was actually recommended by her hygienist and Dr B[redacted] himself to use the rinse 3-5 times per day as well as multiple other suggested products listed to help combat the issue at hand. The condition known as Dry Mouth is known to wreak havoc on a mouth, causing the saliva in ones’ mouth to no longer secrete as it should; this leaves the teeth extremely susceptible to decay. Patients’ suffering from this condition must battle it with at home remedies as described and even then, are still fighting a battle that is very easily lost. The decay that was found on the teeth that the patient described in her letter was found to have started near the root of both teeth. What does this mean? It means that it is not a result of a failed crown; the margins of the crown are not “open” per the Dr’s notes as well as x-rays taken and the crown itself seems to be sound. Nor is the decay focal at the margin of the crown – meaning where the crown typically meets the gum line. The reasoning for a new crown is that the decay must be removed, it is on the root of the tooth, at the gum line; Dr B[redacted] will need to remove the decay and fabricate a new crown that will not only cover the un-decayed area where the current crown is, but also cover the area that the decay will be removed from. In the time that [redacted] has been a patient with our office, Dr B[redacted] has noted her Dry Mouth condition and suggesting hopeful remedies to aide in her continued efforts. We do understand that based on the letter she submitted, it appears that she is still having difficulty understanding the severity of her condition as well as the recommendations given by our dental professionals. In response to Dr B[redacted] being out of the office when she noted the front tooth needing attention, our notes indicate that she declined to schedule the future appointment with him when the Treatment Coordinator offered to scheduled her back as soon as possible.  Dr B[redacted] is a dedicated dental professional and will continue his attempts at educating the patient and treating to the best of his abilities. I went there for a teeth cleaning and a crown. Then took my son for his cleaning, which I was then told he had gingivitis and 4 cavities. I later took him back, spent $205.00 ( that was my portion, not including what they got from insurance) and got all 4 teeth filled. It took about 10 min.

My daughter then went for her cleaning. They told her she had 7 cavities!! and the teeth of a much older person from grinding/clenching, and she should get a mouth guard.

I was VERY suspisious at this point... I sent her for a second opinion..to which we were told she has NONE of those things!

We go get our teeth cleaned every six months, and have never had these issue before. Ive never had to get a second opinion on cavities. Im pretty sure my son didnt have 4 cavaties either, but those are already done and paid for.

We recently moved and kept getting mailers for Impressions Dental. After sifting through several reviews of several local dentists we made an appointment with Dr [redacted]. I have excellent teeth. Have had a few cavities over the years but nothing major. The doctor claimed I had 1 cavity that needed to be filled and insisted I get it done soon. I made my appointment and was convinced their in house insurance plan would be the best financial option considering my husband was coming in to get a cleaning and possible flipper made. I completed my treatment and then my husband went in for his treatment. I had prepaid for the discounted coupon cleaning with the understanding that if he needed a more in depth cleaning it may jump the price $70 higher. My husband arrived on time and didn't leave for over 2 hours. They brought him his estimated treatment charges and convinced him that it was all needed (to the tune of $642 because who goes to the dentist for a $119 cleaning and leaves paying over $642 when they just had their teeth cleaned 6 months earlier and everything looked great) They also confused him, claiming that I had already paid for some of his charges and that the remaining amount could be put on our [redacted]. I had informed my husband of the possible treatment amount for a cleaning and FLIPPER not some crazy scaling and rooting treatment he didn't need. To make matters worse when he came home that evening he was in so much pain (which he never had happen after any of his cleanings!). He showed me his paperwork and I was in pure shock. I called them to find out what happen and where the communication failed. At that time, my cavity was killing me. They agreed to have Dr [redacted] look at it. While there, I wanted to discuss the charges that certainly were not fair. Not to mention their plan to have [redacted] back in for more cleanings and 9 cavity fillings (to the tune of over $3,000!). My cavity was faulty and needed to be replaced. So I was now stuck paying for in house insurance for a cavity treatment that didn't take and a cleaning that was performed on only half of my husband's mouth that was 5 times the normal cost of the cleaning he was suppose to receive.
The end to this nightmare was the office refunding us but not near the amount that should have been given back considering the horrible and shady business practice they showed us. [redacted] claimed if I challenged the amount with [redacted] but the doctor was willing to refund more if I opened another dispute. [redacted] called recently and informed me they should have no part in another dispute and that the office has full control over issuing an additional refund. The office was not suppose to tell me to open another dispute yet that's what [redacted] claimed?!
I do NOT like offices that lie, scam, and swindle. This office does all 3! We are honest people that just wanted to find a good dentist close to our home to provide us quality service. If this office was as upstanding as they claim, they would have given us the [redacted] we expected or at least take [redacted] of us the first complaint we had not lie to us and to the [redacted] company.
DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE! YOU WILL REGRET IT LIKE WE DO!

I've seen Dr. B[redacted] as a patient for about a year and had to have an emergency root canal done this morning. I really appreciated the fact that his office was able to get me in and taken care of. The staff are awesome and the facilities are clean.
