Improv Comedy Club

Review: On February 8, 2014, Groupon Inc had a special for tickets at the Pittsburgh Improv. Pay $40 for 4 tickets and then 4 tickets for future shows are included. On the Groupon it says you can not use tickets for any Special Events. With that said, I went on the Improv website and checked their calender for comedians. I came across comedian John Witherspoon and he was not listed as a Special Event. Their calender had comedians listed as Special Events all the way through July. Since John Witherspoon was not listed as a Special Event and I decided to buy 2 deals and paid $80. The Pittsburgh Improv wrongly advertised their Comedians on their website so people would buy their Groupon special. I feel as though they got people to purchase this Groupon under false pretenses and then change certain comedian's show to a Special Event so you are then stuck with tickets you don't want. They should not be aloud to mislead people. I only wish now I would have taken a screen shot to have proof of what I was looking at but who would ever think they should even have to do something like that. I had some friends look as well is why I purchased this for 8 tickets because we all agreed we wanted to see his show. The point is I purchased the Groupon just to see this certain Comedian. I understand if circumstances arose where the Comedian canceled or something I would be stuck with the tickets to use for another show but to just upgrade the venue like that and not honoring my tickets is very bothersome to me. I feel like it was scam to try and get people to purchase the Groupon. I am very upset at the customer service I received when calling the Improv as well. The woman had no clue when the show was upgraded and was not being helpful at all. I know of others who purchased the Groupon (some due to my recommendation) for the same comedian and now that it's time to make the reservations all the sudden it's a special event. I want my money back! If I can't get my money back I would at least like my tickets honored.Desired Settlement: If I can't get my money back I would at least like my tickets honored.
