Dear [redacted] , [redacted] came in on 12/4/wanting the basic oil and filter, on her Toyota Corolla with [tr., cylinder engine which requires qtsof oil, with 102,miles, wanting to use her own oilShe gave my tech the qtcontainer and then came in the shop demanding "where is the free coffee, don't you have free coffee! We made some coffee for her and started her oil change, since we poured it from her qtcontainer it has to be a guess when pouring instead of through my metering system on my oil dispensers, which are accurate to the hundredth of a qt.,which he put a little than he should have, unintentionallyWhen we finished we show final fill of 4.4quarts and she said it was over filledIt was 118th of an inch over the mark on the dip stick and I tried to explain that that small of an amount wouldn't hurt anythingShe said she serviced a lot of "oil changes" beforeSo I had the techs drain some oil and catch what we dropped so we can determine how much we overfilled itWe showed the final fill again and she said it was okWe had drained approximately tenth of a qtWhich is about% a cup over? Her 5qt container on level surface showed about tenths of a qtleftShe paid and leftOn 12/8/she came back in demanding it is still over filled and I tried to explain again it will not hurt her vehicle and so we brought it back in and she was holding her qtcontainer up in the air, not level so it took it and placed it on the counter so that it was level and showed her again that there was about tenths left in the container and that amount will not do any damageSo we pulled it back in the shop and again drained and captured what small amount of oil and asked her to let me know when she was satisfied with the levelWhen we finished, we had drained another tenth for a total of tenths between the occasions about cup of oilWe did everything we could to satisfy this customerNot once but twice!

Dear [redacted], [redacted] came in on 12/4/2017 wanting the basic oil and filter, on her 2005 Toyota Corolla with 1.8 [tr., 4 cylinder engine which requires 4.4 qts. of oil, with 102,196 miles, wanting to use her own oil. She gave my tech the 5 qt. container and then came in the shop...

demanding "where is the free coffee, don't you have free coffee! We made some coffee for her and started her oil change, since we poured it from her 5 qt. container it has to be a guess when pouring instead of through my metering system on my oil dispensers, which are accurate to the 1 hundredth of a qt.,which he put a little than he should have, unintentionally. When we finished we show final fill of 4.4quarts and she said it was over filled. It was 118th of an inch over the mark on the dip stick and I tried to explain that that small of an amount wouldn't hurt anything. She said she serviced a lot of "oil changes" before. So I had the techs drain some oil and catch what we dropped so we can determine how much we overfilled it. We showed the final fill again and she said it was ok. We had drained approximately 1 tenth of a qt. Which is about% a cup over? Her 5qt container on level surface showed about 6 tenths of a qt. left. She paid and left. On 12/8/2017 she came back in demanding it is still over filled and I tried to explain again it will not hurt her vehicle and so we brought it back in and she was holding her 5 qt. container up in the air, not level so it took it and placed it on the counter so that it was level and showed her again that there was about 6 tenths left in the container and that amount will not do any damage. So we pulled it back in the shop and again drained and captured what small amount of oil and asked her to let me know when she was satisfied with the level. When we finished, we had drained another 1 tenth for a total of 2 tenths between the 2 occasions about 1 cup of oil. We did everything we could to satisfy this customer. Not once but twice!
