Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:In Style Exchange took my project with full knowledge of my timeline that was shorter than their usual 8-months and assured me they had the capacity to complete my orderHad In Style Exchange been waiting on me in any time during the process, I should have been notified promptlyNot knowing the size of buttons does not halt production and could have been answered with a quick phone callThey received fabrics days before pibecause I had been waiting several weeks to hear from them on fabrics yardages and never didIn fear that their negligence would postpone the completion, I ordered based on my own guessesThey had from the time they received fabrics until the deadline to sew the garments, but did not start until days before the photoshoot and waited mere days to ask for yet another extension*** knew these samples were to be photoshoot ready, but I received instead half-finished works of unacceptable qualityOne garment had an unfinished hem, two garments design had been changed without my approval, and each were incorrectly sewnI am attaching a couple of photos that clearly show the poor quality that I receivedKnowing that the pieces were for a photoshoot and later to be used in a trunk show, the company knew that these had to be up to industry standards and they were notIn Style was paid to produce garments and only delivered of an unusable quality and it is on that grounds that I ask for a refund.
Regards,

In Style Exchange responds to this complaint as unfounded: First, we believe that *** ***, the Complainant, misunderstood the process of creating a bridal gown line. We have been in the industry since and *** had been in business for less than a year when she
contacted us for services Second, the written agreement signed and agreed to by *** acknowledged: • Lead time is generally 8-months for design and product development. *** wanted an 11-week timeline and we did our best to meet her requests• All product development is non-refundable• All finished goods will be completed within acceptable tolerance of industry practice: to % variance on specs Third, while we normally conduct two sets of samples, we only did one and the dresses looked like her sketches. Problems and delays with the final product were due to *** actionsFor example, *** complaints that the samples were “missing key design features” but we could not finish the samples because *** was responsible for selecting the buttons and we could not finish the button loops without knowing the button size As another example, *** was responsible for providing the fabric and she told us on November 12, 2017, that the Colette fabric would not arrive in time, so In Style Exchange asked to postpone the photo shoot set for November 18th, but *** refusedFurther we understand that *** further altered the dresses after we delivered them to her in good condition Fourth, we stopped communicating with *** after we addressed her complaints and she was emotional and continued to demand a refundIn fact, she has called and sent me emails stating that I had to respond to this Revdex.com complaint by December (even though my deadline to respond was in January) or the alternative was to have my good name tarnished Due to the client’s delays, we were given one week, an extreme timeline unheard of in the fashion industry, to make the wedding dress samples, which looked like the sketches. We stand by our quality of work as delivered. We ask that the Revdex.com consider this complaint answered and closed
