Review: Dear sir or madam - I placed an order with [redacted] for a black coffee table. When the item didn't arrive after two weeks, I called into customer service to query about the status of the order. The CSR explained that the item in the black color was backordered and would not be available to ship until the next month which was too long for me to wait and asked if I would accept a dark brown version instead. I stated that I did not want a dark brown coffee table nor did I desire to wait another month. I stated that I wanted to initiate a refund and the CSR stated that I must do so via their online refund system. I complied and initiated the refund via their online system which included an explanation for the request for a refund. Within the next few hours, I received an email from their online CSR system stating that the item was available and that it would ship out the following Monday - apparently, my order "was the last one they had in stock". One week later, I received a dark brown coffee table in a box that blatantly showed that the check-box indicating that the item was dark brown was crudely scribbled out and the check-box indicating the item was black was checked instead. When I requested a refund, they said they would send me a replacement. I explained that I ultimately did not want to wait for three more weeks and to initiate the refund since they sent me the wrong color item. I have subsequently emailed the company numerous times without any response other than that they will send me a replacement at some time in the future. I no longer want the item and do not want to do business with companies that hold consumers hostage. I plan to contact my credit card company as well.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that they refund my money asap and arrange the return of their item at no cost to me.

Review: During 2014 we have purchased multiple units of a 42" table with 4 white chairs that have orange cushions for a client of ours. Since January of 2010 In Style Modern has sent us chairs with Red Cushions for every single order. Order numbers available upon request. Revdex.com website is seeing them as a Social Security number. Since May of 2014 I have been promised that In Style Modern would correct the issue and send out the correct Orange Cushions. They have lied to me twice with false [redacted] tracking numbers claiming that they will be sent out, and they never are. I have tried to call customer service, but they never answer the phone and are slow to respond via email. I feel we have been extremely accommodating in allowing them to try and correct the issue. I have all email correspondence with invoices available for review.Desired Settlement: Now that I have invested a good deal of time and energy trying to get the correct product, I would like for them to send a full refund for all products purchased. They sold us one product and delivered another. They can then coordinate their own shipping to pick up the product from my warehouse at their expense. Total amount between all invoices is $8,391.

Review: Not only has the customer service repeatedly provided false information about my purchase, but after repeated emails, calls and complaints, they have ignored my calls and made light of the inconvenience to me during this sale. I have no idea how to track my package and I have grown completely dissatisfied with the buying experience. Both [redacted] and [redacted] have been unresponsive to me in this matter. I will never buy anything from this company again.Desired Settlement: I should receive a 20% discount and expedited shipping for this purchase since I have been completely inconvenienced and lied to throughout this process.

Review: I placed an order from instylemodern.com in August. I have contacted the "company" several times, only to receive a series of half-sentence responses that repeatedly move up the shipment date without explanation or apology. I became suspicious that Instyle Modern was a scam and researched their customer reviews. Several online reviews outline a similar experience where the customer was charged for items that were never delivered. Several reviewers stated that they received items that were damaged, rusted or dirty. I believe this company to be a illegitimate and guilty of charging customers for goods that are never delivered as promised. I do not want to receive my items at this point (if they even exist) and would like to spare all other consumers from a horrible experience such as mine. I ask that you please pursue a complete investigation. Thank you.Desired Settlement: In addition to my refund, I would be even happier to see Revdex.com put a stop to this fraudulent company.

Review: I ordered 2 chairs totalling $2158.20. I received an email stating the chairs were on backorder for 5 weeks and "Any updates we will contact you." To my surprise, we received 1 chair, earlier than the 5 week time period I was given (I also received another item that day at the same time I received the chair)-but I never received an update with tracking information, or even that the chair had been shipped. So when I received just 1 chair, I figured the other was still on backorder. I contacted InStyleModern to ask when I would receive the other chair, they gave me the tracking info and said that 2 chairs were delivered. I only received one (plus the other item from another vendor-so I did actually receive 2 items)-but had I received the tracking info BEFORE the 1 chair arrived, I would have known to expect 2 CHAIRS. I emailed again to ask if they were going to send me another chair and I haven't received an answer from them.Desired Settlement: I would like the other chair to be delivered.
